A quick update! As one can see today is much more bright and sunny! I do believe we received over 2' of snow, and I'm happy to report we never lost power which is very rare with the winds we had. Yesterday I captured this during the storm mind you....
YES!!!! A Robin!!!!!!
I thought I'd had to much gin. Here's a picture of my neighbors Nathan back patio...
We made gin and tonics and used icicles as stirs. Among other things. We then contemplated making naked snow angels, but, well, it was damn cold.
But today is much sunnier and bright...
Now I have bigger problems. There was a mishap during the storm with my motor car.... so excuse me please.
THAT is a biggus dickus!
ReplyDeleteI just posted some pix also. we didn't lose power either, and I have a fire in the fireplace right now. still waiting for the snowplow guy...
you know the mistress. it's either go big or go home.
Deleteus too, and still waiting........
Deletegod lord, I knew you were a size queen but that's ridiculous.
ReplyDeleteA robin!!!!!! I have seen them in like March snows, but never in January!!! Will your insurance cover being hit with a huge penis?
ReplyDeleteiT wont be the first time I had a collision with one.
DeleteAnd here I thought everything was only bigger in Texas.
ReplyDeleteEVERYTHING at the casa is big!!!!!!
DeleteSwing looooooooooow, sweet chariot.......
DeleteReally pretty out with the sun. Glad we didn't hear about massive power outages. :-)
ReplyDeleteso who needs washer fluid?
ReplyDeleteAnd the problem is the windshield is more smeared than ever.
DeleteVery pretty ... today, with the sun.
ReplyDeleteOh, and is that the new Ford Cock-us? Do you have to crank it to start it?
Nah, just tug and push the button and it starts right up.
Delete"We made gin and tonics and used icicles as stirs. Among other things. We then contemplated making naked snow angels" Are you sure that's ALL YOU DID? Beautiful pictures, and a Robin to boot? Mother Nature is seriously screwed up.
ReplyDeleteWhat a storm indeed!!!!! William and I enjoy many, many libations and some good food. Much sunny pictures today. Did you and your neighbor have a snow garden party? That's amazing to see. I can't believe you saw a robin already. Now you should go handle that car incident......
ReplyDeleteWOW, the before and after pictures are like night and day! The Robin either got into the gin or the weather is seriously screwed up. Lovely shot of the pine trees.
ReplyDeletejust your luck, you ALWAYS manage to land a big one.
ReplyDeleteI should have been a medium. It's like a third sense.
DeleteThat's what you did with all that free time...making a giant snow dick?,lol! Loverly pictures though.
ReplyDeleteI was shocked too.making them? I would have guessed blowing them.
Deleteyou seem to have a lot of first hand knowledge mister?
DeleteCali Boi is the resident cock whisper.....
DeleteWell we ended up with about 32" in Hershey. Not even begun to dig out yet, and not sure where to begin. Sounds like you and your neighbor were being "neighborly" the cock on the car I have the feeling, wasn't the only one that landed!
ReplyDeleteI never kiss and tell.......
DeleteWhat we want to know is the gin soaked up? And are you sure that was an icicle you stored with?
ReplyDeleteBeautiful pictures! I was thinking about you guys getting dumped on up there. I see you managed to find some things to do!?!
ReplyDeleteMy Gawd - your frozen dick is even bigger than mine! Wonderful wintery photos! Keep warm.....and I have no doubt you will....
ReplyDeleteWhy am I always the last to comment???
Sometimes it's saving the best for last! As you the frozen dick, I hope it doesn't get ticketed.
DeleteWithin hours after its erection, I hear it made a wonderful luge ride.
ReplyDeleteI love your pictures...so pretty. But do you think you should use your cock as a hood ornament?
ReplyDeleteIt's the new symbol of Dodge!
DeleteWonderful posts showcasing the big snow, Maddie. It looks so peaceful today, after the storm.
ReplyDeleteI know you could handle a bare backside snow angel. It only hurts for a few seconds (especially if you've had a gin or two). Just make sure you get back where it's toasty warm before the snow melts on your skin.
I worry none of the cold, but the issue is who to snap the photo. I do love how crisp and clean the air feels after a huge snow though.
DeleteI like that too. The sky so blue, a treat for the eyes, as the air is for the lungs, so fresh and invigorating.
DeleteI'm with Tomass above...show us that fine backside in the snow!!!! Great snow day pictures, but when we saw the big one, I had another one in mind. drats.
ReplyDeleteI'd love to, back who would hold the camera to snap away?
DeleteI'd volunteer; it would be a pleasure to capture your snowy antics.
DeleteWhy yes indeed, that may be fun. Antics would be right. That might end up be a long day.
DeleteLovely pictures Mistress! I'm so glad you made it okay. I'm sure the houseboys and gin kept you warm and toasty! :)
ReplyDeletefriction is always best!
DeleteLOL!!!! I love the pictures, especially the last one.
ReplyDeleteLove the view. :) I adore snow but hate having to get rid of it myself. But that's not just me, is it? xD
