With all company gone after New Years dinner it has been very peaceful....and I'm now hoping for colder temps, and this is the time I become a recluse and will now hibernate with all the hoopla over. While getting dinner yesterday ready, my first three feathered friends of the year showed up...a Junco, two finch and a sparrow.
It then wasn't long before Bonnie showed up, hinting that there was no more seed....
Bold right? After putting seed out she was back and then brought Clyde and another...
Of course, Bouvier was waiting for me to pass out the peanuts....
Meanwhile inside, I lit my Christmas pyramids and Swedish Angel chimes last night.
My cousin from Michigan sent me the little one in the front for Christmas....and I think the Dog's Mother will enjoy it.....
GNOMES!!!!!!!
Talk about lighting a fire under their asses!
OMB, the gnomes are so damn cute!
ReplyDeleteI always enjoy your bird shots! They seem to like that Poinsettia you have. The chimes are so calming...I have a few here
ReplyDeleteBonnie probably thought it was her reflection, but the realized it was your bird.! Sorry. Nice pictures...you do get close.
ReplyDelete:-) !!! Watch out they will drink all your beer and move on to the other adult beverages! xoxoxoxo
ReplyDeletesounds like a typical night at the casa...
DeleteAfter this...did Bambi come eat from your hand while the bluebirds put finishing touches on the ball gown?
ReplyDeleteEven they were looking for a New Years feast!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful!!!! It didn't take long for the bird to be out did it?
ReplyDeleteYour feathered friends came to say Happy New Year I see. Precious little pictures. Doves are so sweet,I love listening to them.
ReplyDeleteThe birds are pretty but I love Bouvier. How can one not like squirrels, there so cute and comical. Of course I'm not a home owner.
ReplyDeleteLovely pictures as always! The one with the dove peering in cracked my up. She is literally looking in, is she not?
ReplyDeleteGlad to see the birds have the New Year spirit. No sign of them where I live, unfortunately.
ReplyDeleteI love seeing the birds, and nice to remember them this time of year. But I am adoring your collection of Swedish chimes and Pyramids. The one with the angels, I haven't seen in years.
