LATE NIGHT WITH BRYAN FERRY

Bryan Ferry is an English singer, songwriter and musician born in Washington, Tyne and Wear, England. His vocal style has been described as an "elegant, seductive croon". He also established a distinctive image and sartorial style in common with his late contemporary David Bowie, he influenced a generation with both his music and his appearance. Ferry came to prominence as the lead vocalist and principal songwriter with the glam art rock band Roxy Music. He's been romantically involved with the likes of Amanda Lear to Jerry Hall. I have always loved his music and had almost forgotten about this gem, Don't Stop the Dance....had it not been for American Horror Story -Hotel, which featured the song as Finn Wittrock's Tristan Duffy's catwalk song in a fashion show. Just a cool vibe song for a Late Night.....

  3. Oh, what a great song. I wonder if it is him singing the soundtracks in the film velvet goldmine?

  6. Mr Ferry has been a constant source of inspiration for me for decades. We were overjoyed to see him live on stage at Proms in the Park in 2013 with Dame Edna and Blue. Jx

PS RIP Sir Terry Wogan, erstwhile host of those fab concerts in the park.
