A Message From The Mistress

Mistress Maddie wanted to let everyone know that she is alive and well, she's simply having some testicle technical difficulties with her computer. Which is what happens when one spills a bottle of one's best gin onto one's keyboard {{you didn't hear that from me}}.

The Queens of Drag NYC- Ep 5 Acid Betty & Epiphany

On the fifth installment of The Queens of Drag NYC, it follows the unique friendship of the beautiful blond bombshell, Epiphany and the hybrid fabulous Acid Betty! And I have to say they are both adorable as men!!!! Plus their is some excellent backstory on how they got into drag and their names!

I Love Being in Bed!

While I'm not in New York City contrary to popular belief, here in Bucks County it was much the same scene. I swear their is nothing like a rainy fall morning to make you want to stay in bed. Today was even worst than a Monday morning!!! I should have stayed in bed this morning. I knew when I got up that I should go back to bed. I drank my morning orange juice and I did a bit of thinking, but the comfy pillows and sheets of my sanctuary were screaming my name. Begging me to come back and warm them some more. However, I stayed awake and got my little body ready for work, after all, their are those little pesky things called bills! And it just poured all day! Here some of the rainy but beautiful scenes! It was raining when I left........





...and it was still raining on my drive home.


After I got home I quickly got changed like a little kid to take Buster Bolfig for his evening walk. Why he won't walk under a umbrella I'll never know. Upon getting back in he was soaked, but I think he does this on purpose as he loves a good towel rub down!


And now your going to have to excuse moi, as I enjoy my candles, a warm blanet, and wine! Tootles!

The poor Mistress feels just awful for missing the October issue of Harper's Bazaar. I've been so busy getting the Christmas trim ready at the store and done before installation, I hadn't time to read and browse the fashion periodicals I receive to see the latest. I did remember seeing the cover, and had no idea it was Drew Barrymore, who it seems like only yesterday, was playing the mischievous Gerdie in ET. I have always loved Drew, her beauty and acting, but she has really become a Hollywood bombshell! I don't think she ever looked more stunning! I'm speechless.

RuPaul's New Divas for the Next Race!

Over the weekend, the Mistress was playing around looking at drag related things on the interwebs and came across the season 3 of RuPaul's Drag Race! I must have missed the rumors that our queen RuPaul, suffered a heart attack! While the people at logo said she didn't have a heart attack, but she did fall ill during the taping, which had brough it to a halt, but has since started back up again. And what a line-up of queens they have this time. The Mistress knows of about 3/4 of them and I already have my personal favorite to win, but I'm not saying who! But there are some very creative queens this time round. And lots of clawing to the finish line!

Shangela is back again and is looking fine.
