Lately I seem to be smitten with Jake Nodar.
One night it happened. I was on my way to BBC...I was going up the channels when I happened upon a God! The remote stopped on a show called Naked and Afraid. Apparently two people go into a rough locale, with a small bag of supplies and then stripped buck ass naked and then dropped off to rough it for like 20 some days. The guy on the show I saw was Jake Nodar. I thought, am I really going to watch this??? Yeah yes I did. It wasn't till the show was over I tried to google him and found myself further smitten with the perfect guy.
I'd be looking at dat ass too!
Jake is a naturalist, adventurer, activist, environmentalist and horse-trainer... just some of the words to describe Jake Nodar. Jake was born in Baltimore, Maryland, his religious family consisting of an older brother and one younger brother and two younger sisters, to his German/Russian mother and Irish/Cuban father. Exposure to the outdoors was instilled in him at an early age. Having an obsession with horses since childhood, when he moved with his parents to a small farm when he was 18 it was only natural that the first thing Jake would do was get a horse. After purchasing his first horse, he began volunteering at a rescue where they hired him on as farm manager, overseeing 45-60 abused and neglected horses, and his lifelong career with horses began. Jake enrolled in a horse training school in western Colorado, where after graduating, he started his business, primarily working with young horses and horses with behavioral issues. Over the past 17 years, he has started hundreds of young horses under saddle, trained with Olympic riders, and have trained and competed in numerous disciplines, both English and western.
Although Jake never hid the fact that he was gay, he had a very public coming out during the taping of the Out of The Wildl: The Alaska Experiment, when the producers had him read a personal letter to his remaining team mates letting them know that the rugged hunter, and one of the final contestants, who survived the whole journey was gay. Soon after Jake became the first openly gay male cast member to be featured on the Discovery Channel's hit series "Naked And Afraid" Growing up in a religious family and coming out at 20, he took solace in watching Ellen DeGeneres as that was his only connection to the gay community. Ellen's public coming out helped Jake stay true to himself and he hopes to help pay it forward by helping with gay youth, specifically The Trevor Project.
To gay men who make it a habit of looking down on/making fun of feminine gay men, let me first apologize. I didn’t realize it was so hard to be masculine and gay at the same time. All because you blend in with the rest of the society and are able to hide and even deny your sexuality when it conveniences you.All sarcasm aside, what I’m definitely not going to apologize for is their skewered belief that sparkly, flamboyant gay men make other “normal” gay men look bad. This is why I am so smitten with Jake. He is definitely more masculine then me, most would call him masculine. But Jake has no problem embracing a fem side either and camping it up.
It's the one thing I find even more attractive about him. Most masculine guys even gay, I find have no sense of humor or fun, let alone camp it up. Our dear Cali Boi is another side of beef who was even in the service, does landscaping and personal training...and let me tell you, he has no problem camping it up either, and acting a big girl. Yes baby, you tickle me too. I mean, who would pass up a afternoon with Jake? Not I. Hell, if he wants to rough it...I'll join him.
I glamp after all bitches!
