Night of A Thousand Gowns

If you don't have plans for this Saturday night and you love spending money for a good cause, adore drag queens with over the top wigs and gowns, enjoy a cock-a-tail or 10, men, music, and dancing, and just a plain ole good time, why not go to Night of A Thousand Gowns in New York City. The Imperial Court of New York is a not-for-profit organization that has donated over a million dollars since its inception in 1986. The Court has gained recognition in the tri-state New York City region for the tireless work it has done on behalf of the gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender community. I say I want to go but it seems their is always something going on, but next year the Mistress is going come hell or high water and Kailyn said she would go as well.

A lavish and over-the-top charity ball attended by upwards of a thousand guests, Night of a Thousand Gowns celebrates their year at the Marriott Marquis Times Square for a night of fundraising by the Imperial Court of New York and its reigning monarchs, Emperor XIX Jack and Empress XXIV Farrah Moans. The event includes a full-course dinner, open bar, Viennese Dessert Buffet and great entertainment throughout the event. This year it’s “Dancing Through the Decades” with Zelma Davis of C&C Music Factory, Pepper Mashay, Sir Ari Gold and Sylvia Tosun. In addition, performances by New York drag sensation Epiphany, Broadway’s Chad Ryan, Electra St. Jill doing her famous Bette Midler act, the cast of My Big Gay Italian Wedding, DJ Chi Chi LaRue and the girls from RuPaul’s Drag Race! At midnight they will crown their new monarchs, Emperor XX Vanity Society and Empress XXV Pepperica Swirl. And if you attend, you'll also get to see the stunning and ever fabulous pass Empress Robin Kradles, one of my favorites!

A Night Of AThousand Gowns...With Joan Rivers

The Imperial Court of New York and Emperor XVIII Tony Monteleone and Empress XVIII Anne Tique will host the 24rd Annual Night of a Thousand Gowns, an extravagant charity event on Saturday March 27, 2010 at the Times Square Marriott Marquis Hotel. The current Monarchs.


The top picture is the stunning creature Empress XIX Robin Kradles who year after year always looks fabulous.This years Charity Ball will benefit Broadway Cares and God's Love We Deliver. The mission of God’s Love We Deliver is to improve the health and well-being of men, women and children living with HIV/AIDS, cancer and other serious illnesses by alleviating hunger and malnutrition. They prepare and deliver nutritious, high-quality meals to people who, because of their illness, are unable to provide or prepare meals for themselves. GLWD also provides illness-specific nutrition education and counseling to our clients, families, care providers and other service organizations.If your in New York City and don't know what to do with yourself join the good people at the ball that night. This year the Mistress won't be attending but I need to get a fabulous frock ready for next year. I hope to go and would love to have a date anyone. I don't think all this pomp and circumstance is the Boy-Toy. Anywho, The main event of the ball is the midnight coronation of the next Imperial Court Monarchs, the Imperial Crown Prince Royal Jack and the Imperial Crown Princess Royale Farrah Moans.

The star-studded event will feature Broadway-caliber numbers, a full course dinner, Viennese Dessert, open bar and dancing. This year's Honorary Chairs include Dame Joan Rivers, Michael Feinstein, Leslie Jordon and Dame Robin Strasser. The entertainment this year includes the talented Crystal Waters, drag sensations Coco Peru and Jessie Volt, Kelly King and the music of Kristine W. Sherry Vine will be djing this year.



The Imperial Court of New York raises more money than any other gay charity around, and have fun doing so. This night in particular is the most lavish, glamorous, and outrageous event this side of anywhere! You can go The Imperial Court of New York's site here to get tickets.

Beef and Drag Sunday Brunch

It's been a while since we had a nice Sunday Brunch, so while the Mistress is playing here is the beef and drag. Up first -the beef! The spicy hot Brazilian Reynaldo Gianecchini! I do love me some South American meat! Reynaldo was born in November of 1972 and is a Brazilian actor, and of course like all hot men is also a model. He can be currently seen in a Brazilian soap opera where he is a regular.











And the drag- the fabulous,swank, and talented Robin Kradles who has been entertaining for years and raised many a dollar for many charities. Robin is also a pass Empress of The Imperial Court of New York And this is one diva who know how to have fun. You can see Robin in and around New York City and Fire Island.





Now that's how a lady makes a entrance!

How Cool is That?

Earlier this week the Mistress wrote a post about the Imperial Court of New York in celebration of National Drag Month. Yesterday she received not one, but two comments from two of the members of the Imperial Court. The first was from Gabriel, who is known as Emperor X Gabriel Della Notte.



This was his comment:
