Don't ever let age be a deterrent for doing anything. At one of my lovely summer haunts, the Woods Campground, awaits a welcoming LGBT. The last couple of years one of the things that makes the woods special is one of its Queens Gloria Hole. Gloria is another one of our summer residents who hails from Florida. After years of going to the woods, Gloria at 83 decided she wanted to become a drag queen and participate in Camp drag shows. And she did just that. So at 83 he got his act, look, and style together and started and became known as a Gloria Hole. And her Acts were an instant hit, doing retro torch song lip syncs or television skits. It was only last summer that she ran for Miss Woods after 3 years of trying to win and finally snagged the crown. This past season I was up as one of the judges for the show where Gloria passed on her crown to the next Miss Woods. Her acts could be cute and wholesome, or downright sleazy and filthy. And for whatever show or charity the campground was running Gloria can always be counted on to donne her wig and put on a show for tips. She has one of the biggest hearts around. Gloria is a prime example of living a fun-filled life and going out and trying new things even at 83. And the best part ? Another reason I love drag is it's close knit Sisterhood . When he decided to become Gloria all the camp Queens pitched in and helped her with her style, styling wigs, donating gowns, makeup and everything she needed including tips and tutorials on how to do her makeup to become Gloria . I adore this bitch! Kudos to her for partaking of life's banquet.
