A good weekend. Read the previous post to see what I was up too. About the only thing I didn't mention was meeting two guys with friends why we took several libations at Ubar. Several drinks and three hours of conversation. I was asked by each of them when I'd be back in Philly. Whilst I did have my phone, everyone chuckled when I asked the bartender for paper and a pen to get their numbers. Nice to see some things never change. The tried-and-true method I say. Onward to the week.....

DeleteAnother wonderful mood board to start my week: the pink flourishes and that little pink car are a great contrast to the grey parrot and that rock he's guarding (an aquamarine?). Grey and pink is a fresh combination, a palette cleanser after the dark, claustrophobic winter!

ReplyDeleteI must say I'm still laughing my ass off when we got caught up at Ubar. When I recognized your one friend and asked where you were he said she's at the other end of the bar holding court. LMAO!! And how true it was! But it's always great seeing you.
That dress, that color, that face, the arched eyebrow, that look! Vivian Leigh...Sir Laurence Olivier(not an ugly man for sure) truly deserved her, and she him. Unfortunately they had no children during their marriage, but one can imagine how drop-dead gorgeous they might have been.
