WINTER SHADOWS

It been another cold, cold weekend. I let Sophie out the other night around 1am and noticed these very cool, no pun intended, shadows from the tree branches cast on the back garden from the moon.

Today, nothing but sunshine, but deceiving. It's still only 23 degrees. But what a view out the middle bedroom windows!

The bluebirds have been out in force all week!!!!
The hearted bird bath has been a favorite.

  1. Haunting winter shadows! But interesting they look. That had to have been a chilly capture.

But the Bluebirds!!!! That warmed me right up. So many! I can't get any to save my life.

    1. I wished the bluebird picture would have come out more clear. I have never seen so many...three at the most.

  3. What a gorgeous flock of bluebirds! Do you have nest boxes for them? We have one and we love watching bluebird pairs raise families!

  4. The photos of the shadows are a lil' bit dark. The bluebird is a delight to see tho.

  5. Looks like standing room only at the heated bird bath, LOL! It would be cool to set up a trail cam to photograph all the bird bath users over a few days -- I bet you'd get some fantastic footage!

  6. Wow. We tried to entice bluebirds to our gardens in Connecticut with no luck. They were probably all at your house! And a heated bird bath. Plush! Why didn’t we think of that?
