I'm ready for this Monday, even though a lie in might have been nice. The nice weather continues...and the countdown begins till the next vacation. I just have to get through this week, and weekend and then it's arrivederci! And Buster had his latest checkup. The vet says he is at least two to three years pass his expiration date...and shows no signs of slowing down! Goodness, he will be 19 in November!!! In other news, the Mistress got a jump on getting things ready for multiple trips, spent time in the garden, and made a wonderful garden herb lasagna over the weekend, and a lovely ham spread and still had time to meet up for happy hour. And Sophie caught a locust and ate it. So there was that.
I think a tune might be in order today!!!
I don't know why, but watching Cass Elliot move makes me happy.

ReplyDeleteAt this rate I won't be surprised if he hits 20. And the vet basically said let him have anything he wants. So last night he enjoyed some vanilla ice cream.

DeleteCass Elliot had a wonderful voice. Proves what persistence can do... She bugged John Phillips for ***months*** until he finally acquiesced. If she hadn't done that, we may never have heard that voice!
