Well, the Mistress is packed lock,stock and gin for my upcoming trip and this will be my last post till I get back, and hopefully I will have more time to get my laptop fixed. In the meantime, my houseboys are on hand for some booty bumping fun whilst I gone.

A SUITE TIME

Is there anything better than staying in the boudoir and lounging in late on a Monday?? I think not!!!! I was away for the weekend with the Lad in the city and returned to the Casa last night. Today I'm home with a day break before I will be away at another store location for a visual prototype , a renovation and to work with one of our new stylist to show the daily ropes. So for the day, I'm off, and if anyone is looking for me, I'll be resting after such rich delights this weekend.

HERE WE GO AGAIN!!!

Here we go again!!! Technical difficulties. My laptop seems to turn on, but won't go to my log in screen....it just goes to my screen with the sky like streaks and stops. Were also having another snowstorm, so I'm home today, and tinkered a bit to no avail, and the houseboys are as computer literate as I. They are only versed in certain things you see. And with a impending trip at another store for renovations I have no time, temporarily, to get to a repair men, or just get a new one.  I swear, this time my gin and tonic or a cute boy was not involved. In the meantime the lights are off at the Casa, but I will be reading your blogs. Hopefully this too shall pass. I just don't know about this technology thing.

GRANDE DAME

 

Sigh.......it's never easy to be the first gone from Drag Race, but too me Tempest is a true camp queen, who for some reason reminded me of Joanne Worley with her retro looks and big hair. I give her credit for even getting on the show. She is my kind of queen, as I generally prefer the campy over the fishy. Tempest DuJour is (quite literally) a larger than life drag superstar! An enormously popular entertainer in the West, Tempest can be found hosting her wildy popular Retro Game Show Night, headlining Honeybaked Glam, and hosting a wide variety of events nationally. Tempest resides in Tucson, Arizona where she is a professional costume designer and Professor at the University of Arizona's School of Theatre, Film, and Television, in amongst her fundraising efforts for AIDS charities. And I love that she creates everything she wears...from head to toe. But don't feel to sorry for her being gone already, this delicate flower of the desert shares Maison DuJour happily with her husband, two beautiful children, and a whole lot of poultry!!!!!!! Chicken anyone?

MONDAYS CAN BE SO COLD

As soon as one gets comfortable with these weekends, BAM Monday sneaks in again. I don't think I'll ever embrace Monday, and it's even harder when it's cold out. As much as I do enjoy winter's beauty, I'll still take spring and summer. But don't let these cool pictures fright you, there is some warmth here too!

 

 

 

I will say, if I could have a fox as a pet, I would be overjoyed!!!!! I imagine they could really snuggle and keep one warm. I wonder if Buster would like a fox as a companion? 

SUNDAY AVIATORS

I have really been enjoying these last couple of weekends in my late winter hibernating day. This weekend the Professor was here and we had a nice time relaxing, watching old movies and enjoying some of the big dinners I've been cooking. This morning we awoke to another snow fall, and the Professor was amazed at all the activity from my usual suspects......

 

One of my favorite feathered suspects to show up is the Nuthatch, with it's unusual little warble sound. When the screen is open , he will even stay on the sill while I spread the seed. I can always tell when he show up.....

 

 

The titmice showed up...always a favorite. Love that little tuft they have...

So I guess that must mean spring is coming, right?  Cause after all, robins are a sign of spring, right?
