Just got back from my time off, just in time for a lovely goodnight kiss from the Snow Queen. Took these night shots minutes ago.........
Say what may, it is quite beautiful and haunting at the same time. Were expecting 18-24". Currently sipping a bourbon, and then going to bed. I'm sleeping in tomorrow, so don't you all shake the sheets to loud.
Have been wondering about all you east coast peoples. Glad you are home, safe and sound. xoxoxo
ReplyDeletewe have a snow day today - no work on tuesday!
DeleteThe storm fortunately stayed out at coast, and came in from ocean to direct to us, so we didn't get the brunt this time. It could have been worst. I'm sure Anne Marie is very upset to have a snow day!!!!!!
DeleteVery haunting indeed! Snow pictures at night are always my favorite. Enjoy the slumber.
ReplyDeleteSometime a snow sleep in is the best sleep in !

ReplyDeleteThank you dear!!!! I love snow at night.
DeleteDarling Maddie,
ReplyDeleteSleep tight in your Winter Wonderland.
We trust that Prince Charming will brave the blizzards to present you with breakfast in bed.
Oh dear, if only Prince Charming lived closer. But first I must decide on a Prince Charming!!!!! But I am enjoying a lovely breakfast with snowy views out the windows.
DeleteBeautifully haunting shots Maddie Darling... It's just a shame that it gets so darn cold at the same time.... Brrrrrrr. I hope you have snuggled down with a lovely bed warmer...
