Grande Dame.....A Summer Cooler

What would summer be with out the likes of one fabulous and stunning
Varla Jean Merman!?!

They just go hand in hand like the Mistress and gin!!! Varla Jean Merman is a character originated and portrayed by Jeffery Roberson, an American actor, singer and drag performer. Varla's fictitious pedigree boasts that Ernest Borgnine is her father and Ethel Merman is her mother.
Merman is perhaps best known for her role in the 2003 independent film Girls Will Be Girl. She also had a co-starring role in the 1997 film Franchesca  Page. Merman was also one of the performers featured in the HBO original documentary Dragtime. She has appeared in a number of short films and live cabaret acts since she and her male alter-ego attended the School of Music at Louisiana State University. Merman's shows are a staple of summer entertainment in Provincetown, Massachusetts, where Ill be heading soon! It's just not Provincetown without her, or Miss Richfield 1981. She also performs fairly often in New Orleans, New York City, San Francisco, and London and has also enjoyed billing at the Sydney Opera House in Australia, and Carnegie Hall. Varla can currently be seen in Provincetown at the Art House in TWICE UPON A MATTRESS. Varla Jean  gives the mother of all gooses to everyone's favorite fairy tails. If she should ever come to your neck of the woods do check her out, with her all original works and show material. Her schedule is available at Varla Jean Merman. What a legend and treasure!

Big Banana Anyone?

Have you heard of Havana Brown yet?

Havana is an Australian DJ, singer and dancer, who is fairly new on the scene, and I heard this little ditty out last week and just had to shake my ass to it with Raphael!!! It's been stuck in my head ever since. The song, not his banana.  But who doesn't love a big banana? The video reminds me of something...... Havana looks like she'll be a fun artist.

Lady Bunny for Equality

Leave it to that wonderful ho.

Monday with the Boys.

Well, here we are again.  I'm so sad it's Friday. I wish it was Monday again.....said  NO ONE IN THE HISTORY....EVER! Oh well, how bad can it be, it's only going to be a three day work week.

You'll be happy to know the Mistress had reprimanded the houseboys who have gotten the Casa back in order around here, so I gave them the day off. But how in the hell of Mother of Dixie is one to get anything done around here with these distractions?

This one is a quick thinker to block the hole from prying eyes.

Even Ms Moorecock is being laid back today.....

Although, the new Gardner kept things moving around here. He is not one to trifle with. But I'll be on him like a sweaty shirt on a farm hand.
