I mentioned the other day I love Mulled Cider. LOVE IT! But I have been going through Apple Cider like crazy. Sometimes even for breakfast I will skip OJ for apple cider. And it's beyond me why. I very seldom eat raw apples, and if I do, I dip them in that soft warmed caramel. My doctor once said to lay off the gin. He said eat an apple every time you want a gin. I says," yeah Doc, but who wants to eat 15 apples a day?" So by drinking the cider it evens it out. When I went to the farm on Monday, the usual lady there couldn't believe I was back and said no way did I go through two quarters already, to which I relied- yep. I also get my bird seed here. I like going there. Its community and everybody knows you. After looking over several of their baked sundries and thinking my waist needs no more help in expanding. I passed. And then asked if I could go feed the pen. I was told to knock myself out. The sheep were gone and now they brought to the farm their Alpacas, and I now want one!!!!! Look at those eyes! And my inner queen wants those eye lashes!!!!!!
The only knowledge of alpacas I know is that they are very smart, gentle, easy to handle, and each have their own personality. They also are great companions to other animals like goats, cows and such, and have a herd mentality and should not live alone. So...I took my bag and went off to feed them and the little goats.
They did warm up before I left and would let me stroke their heads and neck. But the one above on the left tried several times to push the other from getting his share of food. But all were happy before I left. It made for a delightful moment that day.
And their various pumpkins gave a cheer too! Nothing like pumpkin porn yawl!!!
I really need to get out more. Pumpkins are getting me excited.
Fairytale Pumpkin?!?!?! Now all I need is my Prince Charming, Fairy Godmother, some mice and I'll have it made. I can always dream......
