When I was a wee one growing up, the little Maddie had quite a reading list and one that molded me to who I am today. Such great inspiring titles and setting a mood for later years.

ReplyDeleteI used to have hundreds of Little Golden Books and I'm wondering why none of those were in my collection.
ReplyDeleteTravel, let's overthink this subject some more...It was Jack and Jill who went up the hill. If the well was at the bottom of the hill, why was their house built on top up the hill and so far away from the house?
ReplyDeleteDick and Jane are the kids who saw their dog Spot run. "See Spot run. Run Spot Run." And then along comes their little sister Sally. "Jump Sally, jump. Jump, jump. jump." Gawd I miss those kids! So much more fun than reading about pedophiles, capitalists and MAGAs.
