MOOD BOARD

After 11 glorious days in Barbados and Martinique, a couple days in Fire Island and then a couple days visiting with dear friends in New Hope and finally returning to the Casa Friday... three days to recover at home, mostly spent in the garden taking care of a neglected garden of TLC...I had almost forgotten what a Monday felt like. But all the horrid feelings of getting up early on a Monday were just as shitty, lousy, miserable and rotten as I remembered. I love taking long vacations, because a few days does nothing to make you feel rested, but the only problem is it also makes it harder to go back to reality. But, were up now, and heading back to work, wish me luck.

Happy Monday dears!

    1. My New Years Eve ensemble perhaps? I wonder how hard it would be to convince the clan to dress up as pickles???

  5. Don't your houseboys have a couple of gin cock-a-tails ready for you when you come home? That should ease your transition back to the work-a-day world, LOL!

  7. This is like a pre-Autumn mood board - as in it almost looks autumnal, but not quite! Love the car.
I hope your first week back isn't too awful.

Of the books the only one I've read is the Patrick Leigh-Fermor.

  11. Hope the first day back wasn't awful. With any luck, the Houseboys were ready to pamper you when you returned from the tediousness of the job.
