MY LOVE...PRE PRIDE

That old, old, old pig in a wig, Lady Bunny has a new tune out just in time before Pride season starts. Actually, the Swedish producer Petter Wallenberg did the music, and the song co-written by Bun-Bun, who are joined by Uganda Rainbow Riots Choir, a country where being gay is punishable by life imprisonment or death for "aggravated homosexuality".  A good time to start Pride too. What with millions due from all over the globe for World Pride in DC next month, won't that put the administration and Party of Rot on edge and their panties in a twist?!? No time to sit this one out everybody...our rights are more than ever on the line now. I'm' not sure if you all know, but right-wing Christians in the US spent millions developing Uganda's Kill The Gays Bill, which they helped to become law. When it first passed, Ugandan citizens were urged to report suspected gays to the authorities to be put to death. My understanding is now Ugandans no longer have to report gays, but the same outcome and penalty for being gay remains. Makes me wonder if these evangelicals and right wingers were test running it before bringing it to the US. It wouldn't surprise me. The far right think tank, Family Watch International joined homophobic leaders in Africa to cook this up. The group also holds an annual National Prayer Breakfast in DC at which EVERY US president speaks...regardless of party. I remember when Obama drew criticism for not boycotting the event. Think twice about not attending a Pride this year...GO.....we are moving dangerously close to this happening here, and with an insane, unbalanced and crazed administration filled with bigoted haters and lunatics, and with no one to come to the rescue for us, but us. Anywhore...RISE UP, REACH OUT, PEOPLE ALL OVER THE WORLD!

We will have a Happy PRIDE!

Why the hell, in 2025, do we have to work so hard just to be...us? How can we still be an issue that obviously disturbs the delicacies of a segment of the population whose prejudices and skewed thinking demand that they take such drastic measures to insure their comfortable way of life? Maybe we need to form some groups to arrest all Republican Evangelicals who eat KFC 3 times a week and enjoy nude square dancing. It's just as ludicrous and stupid as the laws they push to harm our LGBTQIA+ community. This should be a non-issue now, but every 10 or 15 years the MAGA and Repugs skuz-buckets have to dredge this all back up and try again to marginalize and condemn people they don't know, but don't like anyway. It's all too exhausting and unnecessary.

    1. It is a shame Milleson, still in 2025! And much like most of the country with not standing to liking the dump, the same with the LGBTQ. Most of the country has no real issue with us....but for some reason this minuscule, racist, power hungry nazis party, and religious right wingnuts and their supporters are getting anyway with. I don't understand how the minority seems to be getting there way on things when there are far more of us, then them. The majority better start waking the hell up.

    1. They will shit themselves! Wouldn't surprise me if the dump goes to Flord-duh that weekend. DC is about to be the gayest place on the Earth next month!!!!! That is going to be one huge gay Christmas Event!

  3. I'd bet my last dollar that the right-wing evangelical population is loaded with deeply-closeted people that make themselves feel superior by attacking LGBTQIA+ people who ARE living their lives as their authentic selves.

    1. I don't bet, I know!

They are sorry excuses. They will fight against us, vote against LGBTQ ISSUES, live a white picket fence life, would take an illness before attending a Pride festival, or hang out in a gay bar. But still make time, to, excuse me Tundra, suck a cock in a glory hole, or get banged in a seedy motel. I couldn't imagine living their life.

  4. Fabulous video! Particularly brave of the Uganda Rainbow Riots Choir -- move power to them!

    1. Don't tell that old pig in a wig, but I got a bit tear eyed watching the choir. They still seem so happy and free to be them, even while living under such threats. It's beautiful to watch them sing and vogue, and wanting to live free without threats.

  5. Solidarity, Solidarity all of us! Love the video too. A great bop with an even better message. And it is rather appalling that all the presidents have attended the National Prayer Breakfast. Our current louse will eat that right up. Your own message is right on too. PRIDE this year is more important than ever. This administration is very scary....I keep waiting for the gay shoe to fall, you know it's coming.

    1. And you know the dump will go and love the hate there...and the event will only keep the issue with him on the map, if not speed it up. Ugh.

Excellent. Love Bunny. Love you. LOVE the message. And yes to Pride. Your right, your right. Even I'm going to NYC's this year. We can't be wiped out by such weak evil slime.

  8. All the best for a fabulous Pride!!
I thought all the God stuff was about love and forgiveness, how do people manage to twist it all up and make it a weapon of abuse?

  9. Excellent post and the song title says all it needs too. We've been lucky to not have issues and laws like other countries. But that is already changing...look at the trans folks, the LGBTQ in the military, and drag outrage. It's starting already. We are already being attacked and could have all our rights striped.

PRIDE is more important than ever. All over the globe.

  10. Perfection, as always.
Pride is visibility and at a time when the fascists in office are trying to make us invisible, we need to be more out, more proud, more loud.

  11. Go, Bunny! You go gurl!
I wonder how many of those closeted repukes and evilgelicals will be attending the DC Pride trying not to be noticed.

  12. I have long thought it totally and utterly inappropriate for homophobes, anti-abortionists etc. taking their evil messages and trying to force legislation on other countries....like mine. As for the interference in Uganda the only word for it is wicked. I cannot think that these people, trying to make other peoples lives difficult at an absolute minimum, would be pleased if we came interfering in America (and rightly so). As for all that c**p about free speech coming out of the mouths of bigots like JD Prance, its so hypocritical.

Funny, witty and just a tad bitchy. Perfection.
And with a message? Yes, please.
