Here it is a gloomy start to the week, but I won't complain, as we need the rain see. But it sure is easier getting up when the sun is out. The weekend flew by. Even with the Lumbersexual here for a visit, drinks with some of the clan, some toil in the garden completed and my vacation scheduling done through autumn, I still had some time to relax. The lumbersexual even helped me get my rods up. The drapery rod in the bedroom that is! For curtains! He does have good hands. A good weekend all told. It's a miracle, considering all the bullshit the Dump put out...changing the name of Memorial Day, cut funding to PBS AND NPR, appointed a hatchet to gut museums, and has plans to reopen Alcatraz. I wonder if he plans to move there???
DeleteThis was a gorgeous mood board, and sort of appropriate for today. There's a soft quiet Beauty about this one. And I love that new business casual look on the man!
ReplyDeleteIf that was the new business casual I would never get any work done.
DeleteLove the doggos waiting for the summer fun to begin... and the flowers are nice too!
ReplyDeleteThat's what I would picture having a birthday party for buster!
DeleteOhhh Mae West AND Josephine Baker? I'm in.
ReplyDeleteAnd weekends go by soooo fast! I love this mood board. It gives me most of what I really enjoy. That sitting room included...
XOXO
A natural Moody feel, I love it.
DeleteI say YES to the tray of cocktails, I'll see if they can make more for the rest of you.
ReplyDeleteThis weekend we have confirmation, our president doesn't know is he's supposed to preserve, protect and defend the Constitution of the United States...?...Hello!!! Doesn't he remember last January when he put his hand on the bible(insignificant)and pledged to do just that? So help him God(such a good Christian is he). It also says to the best of his ability(well there you have it, his oh- so-smart lawyers found that loophole and it's clear sailing from now on. He has NO abilities! Wait! Maybe it was the timing of the swearing-in. It was around 12 noon, time for wittle Donny to have his Depends changed and put down for his nap. Yes, that was it, he missed his nap!!!
There you have it MAGATS, your leader of the Cult doesn't know if he's supposed to defend our Constitution. But I bet all of you are right on board with his obvious lack of knowledge and integrity because most of you missed those lessons after the school burned down in Hitler Holler, somewhere in the deep Confederate south.
And may I end with a Happy and Margarita-filled Cinco de Mayo to all the Mexican and Hispanic people in our country, citizens or not, who do so much to keep this country prosperous. And to the cult that hates these people and agrees with the prez that due process of the law doesn't pertain to them, may you enjoy another swig of moonshine and dream of mass incarcerations now that old Alcatraz is being opened so you won't have to come in contact with the unwashed illegal masses.
I'm sorry...I hurt, I burn, I'm filled with anger at the idiocy that surrounds us. How can the STOOPID have washed over so many people so they can't see what is happening here? Exasperating!!!
Well I'm right there with you. I don't know how anybody cannot see what is going on. And Heaven's knows what this country is going to look like in the end of four years. And did you see that interview last week? He didn't even really know what the Declaration of Independence did for! That alone should have told people he is not deserve to be in the Oval Office, let alone making any kind of decision for the citizens of the United States. I've never seen a bigger dip shit in my life. And yet the poor and middle classes are not still raised the fuss, every decision he makes affects taxpayers money. Well you know where the taxpayers are coming from. And it sure isn't the rich. My blood started boiling again tonight watching the news.
DeleteI like that tray of cocktail glasses, flutes and aperatif glasses.
ReplyDeleteI'm with Debra, I wanna sit and sip a little.
ReplyDeleteI thought that was his breakfast tray!
ReplyDeleteHave you been talking to my staff again??
DeleteI wish, oh the tales they could tell.
DeleteThank you, Mae West!
ReplyDeleteIt's to the point Mistress, where we might need a mood board cleanser daily! They always put me in a good mood. I have heard of Royal Purple Velvet cake but never had a piece. That looks scrumptious! As does the man heading to work. He must be hot?
ReplyDeleteThe two drag gnomes?!? With cocks out! LMAO!!!!! Fabulous.
ReplyDeleteAnother great mood board! Things to see, hear, and TASTE! Love the naked man on the bed, he has got beautiful balls. See, things to taste.
ReplyDeletePurple cake? That's a new one to me.
ReplyDeleteI've never tried Royal Purple Velvet cake....but I hear it's on the level of berry flavor.
DeleteI wish I could sip everything on that tray, understand the pixies, and get closer look at the swoosh on that sock.
ReplyDeleteIf you get to close to see that swoosh, it might get you in trouble.
DeleteOh, I sure hope so!
DeleteWe have rain, too, and we need it. Very gloomy. I love the photo of the doggies. They look as if they're waiting their turn to hop in the swimming pool.
ReplyDeleteLove,
Janie
We needed some rain as we were low for rainfall for spring, so I can overlook some rainy days. Next week is supposed to be wet too. Hope you have been well toots!
