LATE NIGHT WITH JAMIROQUAI

It's just another late Saturday night at the Casa du Borghese. Tonight it's Jamiroquai, a British funk and acid jazz band formed in 1992.Fronted by lead singer Jay Kay, Jamiroquai were initially the most prominent component in the London-based funk/acid jazz movement, alongside other groups. Subsequent albums have explored other musical directions such as pop, rock, and dance electronica. But on tap tonight was the Electric Mistress.........

Tom Ellis recently made a splash on our side of the pond....finally, when he snagged the lead role as the devil himself, a very sexy devil in Fox's Lucifer, but was best known for playing Dr. Oliver Cousins in the BBC One soap opera EastEnders. It was on the funny BBC comedy Miranda, with Miranda  Hart that I became totally smitten with him. This guy was a total hunk, quite adorable and funny as hell. I have toughly been enjoying his turn on his new show, and if he crossed my path, all my defenses would be down. And all this sexiness is also the father of two, who are apparently not impressed with his title of sex symbol and latest role. I guess I can pick up the slack.

 

There's no denying they are crazy..... 

 

LEGO AMERICANA

Lego have managed to make an animated movie about their company seem appealing, so why not a cross-country tour of famous U.S. buildings and monuments constructed entirely of little plastic blocks? "The Lego Americana Roadshow took over our towne center where I work this week with large-scale Lego replicas of the Statue of Liberty, Washington Monument, White House, Liberty Bell, U.S. Capitol, Jefferson Memorial and many more. What a treat. Not being a huge mall shopper, I very seldom leave the confines of our luxury department store, but when going to get another cup of java and  finding these national treasures depicted in LEGO bricks strewn throughout the shopping center was tons of fun!!!! I can't even imagine how long these took........

 

I don't know about you, but my Lego creations were sorry as a kid compared to these!
