Travel to Giraffe Manor

The Mistress is getting prepared again to depart for vacation this week, so I apologize for being so absent of late. While Nairobi is not where I'm going, it is on the bucket list, and I have already told the Boy-Toy we will need to start saving for the trip and planning when. How neat is this to be able to look out your glorious second story window and see giraffe's roaming free. Giraffe Manor is a small hotel in Nairobi, Kenya, which together with its associated Giraffe Centre, serves as a home to a number of endangered Rothschild giraffes, and operates a breeding program to reintroduce breeding pairs back into the wild to secure the future of the subspecies. In 1974 the Manor was purchased by Betty Leslie-Melville and her husband Jock, along with 15 acres of the original 150 acres. Since then a further 60 acres of those have also been purchased, which along with an additional 40 acres gifted by Peter Beard which used to form part of his "Hog Ranch" has brought the total acreage of the Manor up to 115 acres.



They then moved two highly endangered baby Rothschild giraffe to the estate, where they thrived and have produced several further generations of giraffe.When Jock died, Betty decided to open her house, now called The Giraffe Manor, to visitors. It is the only place in the world where you can feed and photograph the giraffe over your breakfast table and at the front door, and even from a bedroom window.




And the manor itself is spacious and elegant and is probably the only place one can feed a giraffe from a second story window.The accommodations are warm it has a highly qualified staff and I hear one of Kenya's finest kitchens. I don't know about you, but I'm soooooooo ready to go. I just adore giraffe! Tootles!

The fact that he is bilingual makes him a favorite in clubs in Puerto Rico and Spain. Randy’s talents aren’t reserved for the stage. He is an accomplished lyricist, an adept sound technician, a talented writer, and a successful producer. To see this most fabulous queen, she can be seen at the Art House currently through Labor Day weekend in Provincetown, Thursday- Sunday at 8:30pm.

Do You Like Your Meat Cut?

Happy Monday to everyone again. Is it me or do Monday come way to quick? The Mistress had her hands full all weekend with playing un-expected hostess to of all people, one of her blog readers and a pass acquaintance, when she was lying poolside. So I got strong armed into going out on the town Saturday night. Oh, who the hell am I kidding. Their were cock-a-tails. Needless to say I'm now tired. What is with the men this summer? All randy and horny, not that I'm complaining mind ya! But to be getting chased by suitors in their mid -twenties is exhausting! Now your probably wondering about the above picture and the blog post. Welllllll,it has to do with this little article the Mistress came across that I found interesting. It was about men being cut verses un-cut and where to find them. How was that for a segway? Now the Mistress herself is not picky about such details, but she is a size queen. Once she experienced her first one she was over it. Big whoppie, some extra skin. But I was appalled at first. I have grown since then. But when I saw this map, I can honestly say I didn't shock me in the least and it made sense. This was from the website.


Now I never thought about it, but being uncut in America can sometimes make you feel very lonely since most American guys tend to be cut. But never fear, Manhunt Daily has come to the rescue with this handy map of where to find other uncut guys in the US. One blog put it this way: if you want foreskin, look for dark skin because more men of color remain uncut than white guys. Sometimes finding an uncut white guy is like finding a unicorn.

Apparently the dark the color of the state is the higher percentage of un-cut verses cut. And in all my years of studies, I find it to be right on. What a way to greet Monday and the new week right? Never a dull moment around here. Tootles!
