TRAINING SEASON
I just heard its spring training season. The pitchers and catchers are all in training.....i wonder if the Mistress has heard this yet? You know, he loves the sound of a good crack of the ball.
The balls may be in good shape, but the bats are looking rather limp. Anne Marie has asked a very impertinent question - I won't pretend I'm not interested in the answer. :)
With the size of the mistress's bat he not only knocks them out of the park....but has too gotten holes in one. Oh wait that's golf. You get the point.
Pitcher, catcher, sitcher, satcher. Anyone with any experience knows that the best pitchers know how to catch and the best catchers can and will occasionally pitch. Only the mediocre and selfish refuse to be well rounded players.
It seems the casa du Borghese staff is very well trained for both. The mistress does both over and over and over just to ensure he is indeed a versatile player.
Does this team represents the Casa? I have the feeling there easier on the eyes, then ball talent. And how is the Mistress? Are he and the Lad back yet?
I always liked Rod. But I've always been more a catcher.
ReplyDeletebwhahahahahaha! is the mistress a pitcher or a catcher?
ReplyDeleteAs long as he involved, you think it matters?
DeleteWherever he may be, rest assure, the Mistress always puts elbow grease into it.
ReplyDeleteWhy did I think it was,KY?
Deleteno doubt which team these guys are playing for.
ReplyDeleteA good pitcher is so hard to find these days, don't you agree?
DeleteSurprised the mistress isn't at spring training. Who else could handle so many balls.
ReplyDeleteOr wood!!!!! And he handles it so nicely.
DeleteI have told the mistress numerous times he should have been a ball juggler, or a sword swallower.
DeleteSo this is what spring training looks like. If it was held at the Casa? By looks of things the boys have nice bats.
ReplyDeleteShame they don't swing hard.
DeleteMy lands, if this is what spring training looks like, we'll never hear from the mistress again.
ReplyDeleteJust mention free gin hour, see what happens.
DeleteI always wondered what it looked like in the bullpen. How is the dear mistress?
ReplyDeleteYou should see the pigpen!

DeleteSo THIS must surely mean a sign of spring right?
ReplyDeleteThe may poles will be erected soon.
Delete🎵🎵🎵Take me out to the ball game, take me out to the crowds 🎶🎶
ReplyDeleteAnd with pitcher's and catchers like this, do we care if we ever return?
DeleteAnd, here I thought it was the group of Houseboys you were about to train...I was all ready to come help!
ReplyDeleteGood to have you back, Mistress, all safe and sound. Hugs!
The mistress still is awol. I hear he just took some laps in the ole gin bath.
DeleteWell, then, the hugs must be for you!

ReplyDeleteWhere ever the mistress is, you can believe he is swing that bat.
ReplyDeleteHe's probably already got his hands full...
ReplyDeleteWe know they're all catchers.
ReplyDeleteI saw the light on and just stopped for a drink.
ReplyDeleteI bet the Mistress is the Mistress of Ceremonies for this team. Wonder where enroute he is now?
ReplyDeleteIf its a pitcher these boys need, give me a ringer.
ReplyDeleteOh my gosh, I'd never wanted to play some ball like I do now... Anyways, welcome back. It's been a while! :)
ReplyDeleteYour not back yet???? Are you oiling their bats?
ReplyDeleteOh yes, please! It might only be the end of February, but it's the perfect time of year for a pool party.
ReplyDeleteMs.Moorecock, is this the casas' baseball team, or just it's receiving team? I hear the mistress has the best receiving team one could dream of.
ReplyDeleteDelicious ! as always !
