GONE BUT NOT FORGOTTEN

Whitney Houston and George Michael. Both were favorites of mine. And when they came together to do this song If I Told You That, I was beside myself. One of my favorite songs from both of them. Such soul, style and they both looked incredible...and George was the only one I think, to match Whitney in holding his own on stage in her presence. Both gone to early, Hard to believe watching this there gone. Both were born the same year too.

Whitney Houston -August 9, 1963 – February 11, 2012 and

George Michael- June 25 1963 – December 25 2016

  2. This song never got the recognition it deserved. So underrated. Maybe now it'll get its due. Rest in peace to these legends.

  3. One of my favorite songs from the early 2000's. It had such a great vibe. Such a catchy song with two incredibly good voices.

  4. What a great song!!! George had a lot of respect in the black community as was embraced by many. He certainly had the elements of a blue eyed soul brother long before Justin Timberlake.

  6. I was a George superfan. Here's a tidbit...... Her record label didn't want her American fans associating her with George because he was gay and how he was forced out of the closet. Meanwhile Whitney said fuck them and did it anyhow. What a dumb decision. This would have been a top 10 hit for them both in the states had they pushed it. Many of her fans love him, as did she. She had always wanted to do a duet with him.

  8. More of a George fan than Whitney, but they were both talented. Recently, I kept thinking it HAD to be time for him to release a new album...so his death came as a real shock. Hugs, mistress!!
