An ode to summer! I can't believe how fast summer is flying by. Technically on the calendar summer runs till September 21st. I always wondered why we are in such a hurry to end the season right after Labor Day??? If any season we'd want to write off fast would be winter, I think. I like to think people would still like to be outdoors, enjoy the sun, and seeing men half naked??? I'm lucky to have off, but I know many are working on the day dedicated to all working people to take a day of rest. Doesn't make much sense, does it? A day dedicated to people laboring ...laboring...laboring on this Labor Day. Hell, I even gave off all the houseboys. Well, let's just all enjoy the day shall we?

Like you summer ends on the 21st for me too. But this glorious board. The cakes and the rooms are very nice. I love the minimal feel of that bedroom.
