What a better time to take in some art then at the end of the week. I came across this artist recently and I immediately loved the artist works and techniques and mediums. I think a series of these would look amazing in a gallery wall collage. The artist? Daryle Balcombe, who was born in England in 1977. After working as an illustrator for major publishing companies such as Readers Digest and DC Thompson, he has moved in the direction of his own fine art. I found he uses sketch, charcoals, water colors and even excels at photography.
Are you going to volunteer to model?
ReplyDeleteWouldn't be the first time I posed for still life.

ReplyDeleteWonderful work. You should definitely do a sitting. Maybe with the Lad.
I'm not sure we can get through the whole sitting. Imagine what the artist would be drawing then.
DeleteVery accomplished watercolour works!
ReplyDeleteI love the negative space in many of them.
ReplyDeleteThese are all great. I with Bob - i think the ones with negative space are my favorites.
ReplyDeleteLove them!
ReplyDeleteI really like watercolor as a medium (and I think it's super difficult to work!)
Is he on Insta??
XOXO
Yes, I forgot to insert the link.
DeleteGood paintings but pic #2 looks as though he has got himself tied up in his underpants.
ReplyDeleteHe’s got a beautiful style. I’m waiting for the Portraits of Maddy series.
ReplyDeleteIf you know where to look they're already out there honey.
DeleteI can only imagine the pearl-clutching and smelling salts required if any of these graced the pages of Readers' Digest!!! Jx
ReplyDeleteI like these.
ReplyDeleteDes Å“uvres d’art uniques. :)
ReplyDeleteMonsieur Balcombe présente bien ses modèles, la première image ressemble à un jock américain.

ReplyDeleteThose are nice pictures, and reminders why I need to continue my weight loss journey to its completion.
