FRIDAY......COCK-A-TAIL TIME!

 It's Friday!!!!!!!
That means cocktail time!!! Since were in the throws of summer, and every year I have posted my Adult Popsicle Recipe here, I thought I'd give you two new treasures for you to sip on. Like nectar of the GODS!!!! For my non drinkers...Brazilian Lemonade!!!! You haven't had lemonade until you've tasted Brazilian Lemonade! Get your mind out of the gutter. This Brazilian Lemonade, made with limes is refreshing & delicious!
A delicious and refreshing lemonade that is perfect for the summertime!
Ingredients
3 fresh limes, quartered
1/3 cup sweetened condensed milk
1/3 cup sugar
4cups of cold water

Pulse limes, sweetened condensed milk, sugar, and as much water as you can until everything is combined.
  1. Pour the liquid through a strainer to remove the chunks of limes. Pour the remaining water (do not exceed the 4 cups) through the strainer to remove any sugar or pulp that was left behind.
  2.
3.Stir and serve immediately over crushed ice. Makes a little over 1 quart.

Now for those of you dears that want something refreshing, yet with a kick, one of my favorite afternoon beverages is a Cucumber-Mint Sparkler!!!!

As far as cocktail profiles go, these are on the light, bright and slightly on the sweet side, just like your Mistress. Cucumber is muddled with fresh lime juice, shaken with vodka and mint simple syrup, and then topped with a heavy pour darlings, of Prosecco (or champagne if you’re feeling particularly fancy). You get the cucumber and bubbles on your taste buds first and then a surprising, minty finish. It’s straight-up delightful, if I do say so myself. And when someone comes into plant one on your luscious lips...well, it will be better than any lip balm!!!!

Ingredients
1" piece of cucumber
1/2 oz fresh lime juice
2 oz vodka
2tsp mint simple syrup
3oz Prosecco or champagne
and for the garnish 3-4 slices of cucumber and a spig of mint!
When all is said and done, hopefully you'll have a hunky Brazilian like Erasmo Viana to serve you!!!!

There now...we all lit?!?

  1. I'm making that lemonade this weekend; it sounds dee-lish, plus, PLUS, you can probably drop a little teguila into it for something kickier!

And the Cucumber-Mint Sparkler is on my list, too.

At one of our local Smallville watering-holes, they make a fabulous Cucumber gimlet, with muddled cucumber, simple syrup, fresh lime juice, and Hendricks gin.

I am not a gin man, but this one is so refreshing!

  2. Well, now...those sound positively scrumptious. Perhaps I can convince the wife's Cabana Boy to make a few for us this weekend. If we get drunk enough as we frolic naked in the pool, well, who knows... Have a wonderful, wonderful weekend! Hugs!

  8. Condensed milk! I never knew that stuff still existed! Has it ever been used as a nipple condiment? Your Brazilian lemonade recipe sounds very sweet and not very lemony, but I'm sure it's great!

    1. OH WHAT A SHOCK! The mention of summer libations and a boozehound come arunnin!

    2. Yes, there was a variety of gin last summer but none of these interesting libations. I feel cheated. Time to return to the Casa. And I'll be bringing plastic so that I may sit down. I have not forgotten the seashell photo. At least it was on the chair and not the couch. But the photo made me think exactly what surfaces had your ass or junk been on in that apartment. I'm thinking several because around you, you're Patsy and I'm Edina.
By the way, when are we dragging Saffy to Marakesh?

  11. Anything with limes/ lemons and I’m there. This reminds me of a lemon or key lime pie that you make with eagle brand milk, lime /lemon juice and whipping cream. I’m sitting here running my pantry items through my head to see if I have the ingredients on hand. Thanks so much for the recipes. I will definitely be making this !
