SILLY SYMPHONIES
I do wish some network would plays these again in the mornings. With the warmer temperatures setting in I wonder if this is the scene out in the garden taking place? For I have seen one local active ant hill!
On my walks, I see one of my neighbors has a pretty large fire ant infestation in front of his house. I don't know if he has one large colony, or several smaller ones!
Yes the garden certainly is coming to life finally. I can say I honesty didn't root for the Grasshopper here. They do tend to scare me. What a cute cartoon. Another good symphony.
I never get tired of watching these. If only life could be as delightfully conducted as a Silly Symphony........or, after a few gin & tonics, perhaps it is......
Oh, was that a question to me? Why yes, you should see the symphonies I see after a few gins. They look incredibly like these. Except for when I thought I was working at Nasa. Thank you for you query!
I liked that one. Funny how much thought goes into new cartoons, when silly symphonies took the simplest of ideas , and they were just as entertaining.
I thought I heard music coming from the back forty this morning! I'll sit and enjoy it for a spell, then it's off to the dentist [ack!] and then it's home to pack. We're off for ten days in Oregon .... ah, I hear a symphony!
Our garden's full of "dancing" slugs and snails at the moment - squish, squish, sweetie! Jx

ReplyDeleteI don't remember these but they do have some creepy aspects to them.
ReplyDeleteWhy did I expect the grasshopper to eat all the ants?

ReplyDeleteI was always on the grasshopper's side. Fucking prissy ants, nothing but slaves.
