"SPIRIT OF LOVE COME TO US!!!!!" - It would be almost criminal and sacrilegious if one didn't get to dance to this...one of my holy grail of Deee-lite songs, and house music in general. My girl Kailyn and I are in deep religious mode when this ditty comes on....go and dance, you know you want too.......
LOVED THIS SONG!!!!!!The feeling of clarity here is just elating. An incredible dance track.
ReplyDeleteThe textures on this track were ahead of their time. They broke that Brazilian Batucada rhythm by 5 years before if got popular. Yeah, this got my movvvvvvvin!
ReplyDeleteOMG, was I in love with her and this group for so many years. This statement I will forever remember. "Nobody listens to music, they just hear it" used to be my boyish statement. 20 years later I am more sad, and more worried. Music just doesn't move you any more. This song still gives me chills.
ReplyDeleteIncredibly talented group, different, quirky and different sounding - this album should have done so much better than it did. But then the general public never has been very sophisticated.
ReplyDeleteLoved this tune. With a lil bit of samba!
ReplyDeletethe positive message , lyrics and livliness of Miss Lady Kier ! Where is this music now???
ReplyDeleteI have been enjoying this week. Having never heard their music entirely I find myself very much enjoying their music. I don't know...very catching and it just promotes me to feel happy. And I haven't danced in years. I so can see you though dancing to your hearts content to this.
ReplyDeleteCould this be the tune of seduction for the Mistress? This is totally a cool track.
ReplyDeleteI have to say... Deee-lite changed my life. And Lady Miss Keir Kirby had a HUGE influence on me, and still does. Raver or not, there is no doubt this group had a major impact on at least dance music. I remember the times.... thanks for posting.
ReplyDeleteI wonder if this is what traveling through space sounds like?

Groove truly is in the heart. This just proves it.
ReplyDeleteHaving just gotten off the red-eye from the Left Coast is it okay if I sleep this one out???
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely love that song. Was that not featured in a movie of your life?
ReplyDeleteYou know it was in the movie. Yes, I own both the movie and the soundtrack.
