GLAMPING IN THE POCONOS

While you Mistress had another lovely vacation and just in from the antics of Provincetown, my first stop was glamping!!!!Why yes.... glamping!!!!! Is there any other way? The Mistress can pop a tent, but prefers the comforts of a glamper! If you ever have the chance to get east and are in the area, and you love the great outdoors, this  lovely little spigot of land is for you!!! At the Woods Campground, Not only will no one bat an eye if your dressed or undressed, but everybody gets along swimmingly, and all types are welcomed. The happiest guest and a most gracious staff you'll meet. Granted 3/4 are well marinated in the sauce. I was the guest of my dear old ,old friend Winfred, who put us up for the weekend. I always choose this time to go for it is there Illumination Weekends, one the the prettiest, most magical weekends they have. The camp trails and walk ways are all lined with luminary bags, I thought I heard someone say the bags were in the thousands this year, and just about every site is decorated with some form of lights, candles, torches and the shy is the limit with a theme. One guest was even lighting Chinese lanterns that rise high in the air before they extinguish. Here were some highlights form my glamping......

Illumination night....
Such hospitality!!!! How cute was this for passer bys
The Year of the Dragon I believe. Incredible!
A Ode to Respect of the Cock. I do believe my "friend" tried to pilfer a few of these.
How glamp is this site???? The host here even gave guest a spiked frozen pop stick! Unbelievable style.
A balloon chandelier!
Illumination was not only pretty, but was even more spectacular this year due to the fact two of my friends got married by candlelight in a touching ceremony on their site, after being together for 24 years!!!!! It was raccoon time for me.

All the comforts are here....

The very fun pool and clubhouse is the place to see and be seen.....complete with top notch entertainment!!!
As one can see, there were just a few people in the pool.....

to watch the show.....

And this hunk...HUBBA HUBBBA!!!!!!

and no night is complete without a night swim...

Of course, the grounds are well kept and very pretty indeed. Most days the gazebo offers wonderful massages, and love the fish pond at the guest services.....
And my favorite part of the grounds is the wonderful lake and trails , some of which require the Mistress to take a carafe of gin.

Your Mistress and friend Kyle were on the dock one night. We always like to go there around 2am after dancing, before turning in, to look up at the stars, almost like a meditation. It's so dark, and the stars look so brilliant. Of course Kyle left me there one night when a passed out fell sleep. Next thing I know, I awoke to the early morn light!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

When in the Pocono's, summer or not, it can get nippy at night. Hence why my hootch bag is the heaviest bag I take!!!! But fear not....the camp host a huge bonfire at night around 9pm on the weekend nights, and draw quite the crowd. It's always a great place to meet new friends. Just don't stand to close.....my Aqua Netted coiffure almost went up one night.

And I may have had fun, but it was no man who melted my heart. It was the charms of this adorable pup who did!!!!! A Dachshund/Pomeranian mix.

And just for the wonderfully talented Tomass Hawkke, I came back from my nature trip with a big bunch of ferns!!!!!!!!

To check at the Woods Campground, just click link to the right, or click on the Woods label in my tags to read about others post I have done. Thanks to everybody for a wonderful time....you know who you are!!!!!!!!

  12. hope those were fern fronds and NOT poison ivy!
welcome back; I left you some gin!
and glamping is the only way to go; who wants to break a manicured nail pitching a tent?

    1. You'd be amazed how many queens were trying to pitch tents! Some looked very crooked.

  15. Glamping already got my interest, but with this as an example, you really have my FULL ATTENTION! glampers? Boys pitching tents? Naked Way and night swims ? All I can say is I am totally jealous if.
I think glamping really must be in my future! NOW welcome home AND MOVE THOSE FERNS.

    1. Move the ferns? That would reveal the root of the problem.

  16. It certainly looks like you did pick the right time to go - Love all those little lights! And the surroundings are beautiful. The pool looks a little crowded though - I hope it didn't prevent you from doing some lengths?

    1. You would love the scenery I have the feeling. Unfortunely my lengths were limited in the pool, your right. But once on the chaise lounge........

  17. Your back, finally! Who knew the outdoors could be so glam??? The scenery is breathtaking and that one campsite is incredible! Were you not worried about getting bit by insects on that dock? Beautiful post and the pool girls are a hoot!

  18. I love pitching a good tent...something about handling all those poles. Look like you had a great time, this place so so cool.

  19. The cock shrine is quite touching and you answered all of my questions but one: Where are the lesbians?

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. You know, there used to be many more lesbytians there, but from what I heard from one gal there, she said the girls were fighting to much over drama. A few do go there far outnumbered by the men. There is though one road named Lesbian Way!

  20. That is my idea of camping! Um, if there's room service, that is.

  23. How positively beautiful. I can see why you enjoy it so much. The Illumination must be a sight to see.
The crowded pool reminds one of the pools here - though, here the only things allowed to be bared are ladies' breasts...the men must keep the "package" completely wrapped. And, how unfair is that?
Yep, your glamping ground looks luscious! Good to see you back safe and sound.

    1. UNFAIR! But I have the feeling you'd enjoy yourself very much here. Where a packages can be unwrapped.

  24. My you sure can pull off a nice fern ensemb! Looks like a lovely time. It was so nice getting to see you and the boys again. Now I need to visit at the woods sometime with you. The pool girls are adorable!

  25. I had a feeling your creativity might result in some erotic fern attire. I'm just wondering, how are you going to water them?

The Woods Campground looks most interesting; a place for special times, both playful and peaceful (I love watching the stars from the darkness of the countryside). The lake is beautiful, picturesque.

Thank you for sharing you holiday photographs, and of course, your botanical loincloth.

    1. I had the feeling you'd like it! Water..well......but you would have a kick at the Woods. What I like most is one can be as social or unsocial, and head to quite areas as you like. The lake is definitely my favorite place. xoxo

  26. I love this idea of camping, and with how much fun you had I'm surprised you came back at all. That's the same reason why I haven't been back to Canada in about twenty years.

    1. I am definitely going next year, this looks like some good bonding fun! You have way to much sinfully good fun. I also sure hope there were no spiders in those ferns.
