If you a regular visitor to the Casa, you'll know the birds and Buster aren't my only pets. There is also Bouvier the Squirrel. She has been around now for some time. Most mornings when I leave, she'll hear the door open, come running, and perches herself on the bottom step and wait for me to hand her a peanut. It's the cutest thing. Once in a great while, she has even scaled the bricks up to my windows still to beg. The birds are appalled. I got some snaps for her recently.
In these two pictures, it was a hot day. I had noticed she dug a hole in the tanbark and was just lounging in it....with an occasional flip to the back. Funny to watch.
She can run but can't hide.....
And now I have two!!!!!!
I have found there nest. It is actually right outside the kitchen window high up in the oak tree. People think I'm crazy when I tell them I have two pets squirrels I believe. My latest project is now trying to attract hummingbirds. Alas......the only one I have attracted is......
She is persistent if anything.I never claimed your Mistress was playing with a full deck.
They'd make a great hat. Jx
