Grande Dame of the Week

The retro-chic glamazon.... Edie! Isn't she gorgeous?

Edie has been a groovy drag entertainer for some years now, and I just adore her retro looks and drag routines! Edie can be seen with her time split between Las Vegas and New York City with a few summer gigs in the gay town, Provincetown. Edie made her Broadway debut in the Tony-nominated revival of “The Three Penny Opera” starring Alan Cumming,Cyndi Lauper, Jim Dale, Ana Gastyer and Nellie McKay, at the legendary Studio 54. In addition to Broadway, EDIE has performed everywhere from the MTV Video Music Awards to the Rosie O’Donnell Show to Caroline’s Comedy Club for over a year with two-time Emmy-winner Judy Gold. She has performed at Wigstock, was featured twice at Broadway Bares, and in the Actor’s Fund benefit concert of "Funny Girl". Edie is a regular performer on Atlantis, the largest gay cruise ever, and has toured the country with Lady Bunny in "Absolut Live!," having performed at the House of Blues in L.A. and at Disney Gay Days in Orlando as the opening act for Cyndi Lauper. Edie could also be seen as the new EMCEE in Cirque Du Soleil's ...ZUMANITY. Be sure to check out her cool retro site at Simply Edie.

And here she is at the The Woods Campground where as you can see, really good at starting a fire!
