Like many other bloggers, I'm looking at you David and Mitchell, I take way too many pictures of things in life, or on trips. I don't have fancy cameras, just two digital cameras, that I switched back and forth between, and my cell phone. I have way more picture of things then I should. Being visual I like everything and nothing of interest. I can just snap at things too. I rarely stand and focus and do all the professional things one probably should do. Sometimes I even snap while walking and aren't even looking through the viewer. Many pictures get trashed when I edit them down into albums on the laptop. But here are a few saved favorites that never quite got into a post on the blog from the past year. Above is a snap of the entrance to Chinatown in Philly.
Geese along the canal on a return trip to New Hope in the late summer.
City Hall in Philly of one of numerous returns trips this year. One of my favorite buildings in Philly.
A lit sign along the river in Harrisburg.
Very nice. I see your friend and I go to the same stylist.
ReplyDeleteLol!!!!!!!
DeletePat Lark says,
ReplyDeleteThose are some wonderful photos. That entry to Chinatown looks just like the entry to our Chinatown here. Go figure...LOL.
We don't take many photos at all. One thing I learned over the last month as we're cleaning out a friend's house (who died back in Nov) is that, one day, someone is going to go through it all and not have any idea who or what the photos are about. They'll end up in the trash (literal or virtual). Because of this experience, we've begun clearing out our own house.
I adore. You have a great eye, as I've mentioned in the past. Faves: The geese and the kingfisher. Stunning stuff. I also have a thing for big feet, and based on that last photo... you, ummm, could squeeze me in :) Kizzes.
ReplyDeleteI don't even need to look at my schedule, I'm sure I can squeeze you in.
DeleteWell, I like the Things you Photograph, you have a good Eye and a nice Ass Mads. *winks*
ReplyDeleteSuch fabulous photographs, it would be impossible to choose a favourite!
ReplyDeleteI particularly love the Amarylis, the espresso martini and of course the dogs.
I've got big feet too.😁
A miscellany of beautiful and interesting shots! Buster does look very contemplative, like a real philosopher!
ReplyDeleteI like your friend at Kolher Farms.
ReplyDeleteI love the photos, and it's always nice to see Buster and Lilith once in awhile.
ReplyDeletelove your pics here!
ReplyDeleteexp the dogs!
Delete[why you call your feet BIG? what size are they?]
Loved the pics and the badonkadonk!
ReplyDeleteI think I own a camera, but I have not used it in YEARS! I only take pics with my phone, alas.
And you know what they say with men with big... feet, right??
XOXO
Big shoes. Jx
DeleteAre you boys saying you want to find out if that big foot thing is true? And I think you should take pictures Six. I would love to see what you take pictures of.
DeleteMy gauge of "what's lurking below" is always the size of the hands, not feet. I'm rarely wrong. Jx
DeletePS I am sure I posted another comment but it's not appeared. Maybe I've gone to junk. To coin a phrase.
That is actually true Jon... a hard cock is the length of one's hand. Do we now think some are whipping them out hard to measure?
DeleteI've only ever seen a kingfisher live on a trip down the Thames, but it's a memory that will stay with me forever. Our kingfishers seem to be a more greeny blue than yours and lack the crown.
ReplyDeleteI love your photos, and you have a lovely bottom! I didn't take many photos for a long time but now I enjoy snapping this and that with my phone. Most of my pictures are of Franklin & Penelope. I certainly don't have the eye of an artist as you have.
ReplyDeleteLove,
Janie
I love your Franklin and Penelope pictures, Janie!
DeleteThank you, Deedles!
DeleteI love random collections of memories like this. We too keep all ours saved in folders on an expansion drive, by event/trip/holiday/month, and they go back years. When I unexpectedly lost a random folder of files (not photos) last month, however, and was unable to retrieve them using any recovery software, it sent a jolt through me to think "what if it had been the photos?" So I immediately purchased some space online on Google Drive to back them up... Worth a thought. Jx
ReplyDeleteYou sound like me with any folders for different occasions. I should do the same as it has happened to me in the past. Right now, I have files on the laptop, and pictures also stored on Pinterest in different categories, but not made public.
DeleteAll of these are lovely, Mads, but Buster is my favorite.
ReplyDeleteThat's one of my favorite pictures of Buster.
DeleteSo, "I take way too many pictures of things in life"? Nice! Very nice! Thanks for that parting shot, too. Speaking of which, I have a photo I took last week after I poured out an entire bowl of soapy water on myself instead of in the sink. I thought it would be a funny blog post. Except that it looked more like porn — and quite hot I might add — and I decided to keep it to myself.
ReplyDeleteNow you have my Imagination running wild.
DeleteThe Philly Restaurant Buddakan looks amazing! They're all very nice pictures. You always feature nice pictures which is one of the reasons I've always been drawn to your blog. And what's not to like about hump day pictures, especially when they're that nice.
ReplyDelete"What a seat that boy has, what a magnificent seat!!!" Happy Hump Day indeed.
ReplyDeleteSomeone has been watching Auntie Mame.
DeleteYou must have twisted yourself like a pretzel to get that last shot.
ReplyDeleteTwist like a pretzel hell! It's called set the timer on the phone!!! But if you're offering to be my photographer I won't say no.
DeleteI guess they're right about the big feet?
ReplyDeleteI keep telling myself I need to take more photos.
ReplyDeleteCoffee is on and stay safe
And that's only 4 of them, the rest I have are in wig boxes.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous photos, sweetpea, but I think the last one should be called "Rump Day" and a very delish one, too! xoxo
ReplyDeleteKeep taking the photos!! I wish I had more things to take photos of, I usually focus on scenery - maybe I should use my imagination more?!
ReplyDeleteSx
You take awesome pictures!!! Those martini's look insane. And I have just the thing to go along with your awesome ass!!!! You look very sexy in indies and wear them well my friend!!!
ReplyDeleteExcellent pictures! Now turn around and show off the other asset!
ReplyDeleteYou know I adore the pictures!!!! I just spent time in Philly with my kids this week. I miss being down there on a regular basis. The pups are so cute!
ReplyDeleteIs it wrong I want to tap your ass?
