I've always preferred Cruella over the insipid owners of the dogs. My late mother-in-law had a dalmation. That bitch was evil (the dog, not my mother-in-law). I'm all for population control of the mean little suckers! The movie looks interesting. I'll wait.
My good friends have always had Dalmatians and theirs have been sweet. After the last died...the newest just arrived this week. They always joke to the pup...wait till you meet Aunt Cruella. But my sister had two crazy ones. It must depend on where and how they are treated when bred.
So... The Joker Part II? I get it. I like it. I will watch it. I was so disappointed with Jolie as Malificent. This looks more fun, but way too Tim Burton Batman. Which is fun. But not 'good'. In ten years? I want her to remake Mame, the musical. I do adore her. Emma Stone. She's talented. But this... looks silly. And I want... evil. The way Eartha Kitt promised me it would always be... Kizzes.
Oh Upton!!!! I agree about Angelina. I couldn't imagine anyone else bringing this animated character to real life more that Jolie. I lived for her. She had it down to a tee. But I also don't know I want a Auntie Mame remake. I have yet see any actress I think could do it justice. And remakes never stand up to the original. Ross Russel will always be the legendary Mame.
Hahahaha
ReplyDeleteYes! And I hope they let her be evil. Cruella does not need a redemption arc.
XOXO
Where are the houseboys!
ReplyDeleteI said biography...not porn fest.
DeleteShe's like The Joker ... in Drag!
ReplyDeleteYou do know this documents her growing affection for puppy skin?
ReplyDeleteBuster does look rather nervous now since you mention it
DeleteLOL. I love it!!
ReplyDeleteOh, and Connie Francis with "Who's Sorry Now?" is sheer perfection!

ReplyDeleteWent to a fancy dress party as Cruella de Vil in a wig I made myself and my dress was red too!

ReplyDeleteOh I disagree. I think Angelina Jolie nailed that part beautifully. The sequel was hokie though...but to no fault of her.

Deleteyep...the driving is it. Try driving with the mistress....it is cruella. And the madness.
ReplyDeleteI adore Emma Stone....she will be perfect for this role playing Cruella.
ReplyDeleteIf your like her you must have the neighborhood on edge?
If you drive with the mistress and he doesn't scare...no living thing will.
ReplyDeleteYou deserve a film that would be described as AN EVENT OF EPIC GRANDEUR.
