AND NOW SOME KATE SMITH

You know I love me some good old fashioned Christmas songs or Jazz versions. If I have to hear Mariah Carey screech and scream through another Christmas song I may take a ice pick to my ear drums. No give me the old nostalgia and jazz standards any day. Like the wonderful Kate Smith.......

  1. Now this is TALENT!!! A have always loved Kate Smith, and unlike the caterwauling, autotuned, repetitious little twits of today's music scene on Christmas songs,

  5. A legendary set of pipes! But for me, Kate Smith will always be the Philadephia Flyers' "good luck charm" who sang "America the Beautiful" before all their important games!

  6. People aren't aware that late in her career she became a gigantic seller for RCA Victor mostly doing albums of contemporary material and the latest hits masterfully.
Unexpectedly, she got a younger audience as well as her older following
