BEAUTIFUL & EXOTIC

We at the Casa du Borghese apologize for no In Three Words today.... the Mistress was invited for dinner after work and wasn't home to do so. I was joined by the four friendliness creatures.
Yes...they may look menacing and evil, but they are the softness and most lovable of cats....and loving the heating vent today! My friend has four Sphinx cats.

I'm sure Buster will be like Where and who have you been with.....when he starts his sniffing investigating all over me....

  1. I have heard that they have the sweetest and most loyal of cat personalities. They are certainly exotic.

  2. I too have always heard how loving they are, but nevertheless THEY CREEP ME OUT. But I wouldn't mind snuggling into that shoulder like the one in the bottom photo.

  3. Meow! The hairless and tailless cats freak me out. They seem really nice, though.

  5. Those are some amazing cats. It almost makes me want to shave Astro, but I know it wouldn't be the same and I hate getting clawed.

  6. Wow, they look like my Bella when I get her groomed! I shave her down to the peach fuzz for low maintenance. She looks like the lighter one of those cats. She's a dog but has a cat mentality. Maybe she's more of a mixed breed than I thought!
This is the kind of cat that I have to cuddle with in person so as not to be freaked out. How dare you cheat on Buster with a *gasp* feline!

  7. One of my nephews had one of this kind (unfortunately it lived till only about eight years) and I can confirm that he was the most lovable of creatures, perhaps belying his 'oddish' appearance. No wonder at all that they were once worshipped, and fully deserve to be still.

    1. My friends oldest one is now 9. Yes, they are indeed sweet hearts and attention seekers. Im not so used to cats being this affectionate.

    2. When a cat does get all lovey-dovey I tend to ask myself what their motive is - and it's generally if not wanting food then it's after a warm lap. But I don't mind as all their rubbing and purring gives my mood a real lift.

  8. Until the last pic, I assumed you were having dinner with:

    Dr Evil

The cats are marvelous! I especially am thrilled at the ones in the stylish leopard print and the colorful zigzag pattern!

They look like those ancient, royal, and worshipped Egyptian cats. Clearly, you love lots of pussies!

  10. Love those cats. We used to have Siamese. They were so vocal, they drove my other half mad. Once when he was in bed during the day(because he worked night's then) one of the cats was meowing loudly sat on the stairs. Suddenly the bedroom door was wrenched open and my nude husband screamed at the top of his voice "if you don't shut that f#@+ing cat up, there's going to be a divorce!"
We still laugh about it though.
I'm more of a dog person now though. I need the incentive to get off my backside and go for a walk.....

  15. I know they're soft, but they surely don't look it!
But there is something regal, and wrinkled, about them!

  18. I don't think I have ever seen a Sphinx cat before. My first thought was these poor critters need some fur !

  19. I want to be one of those cats if I get to be held, cuddled and stroked by that guy!!!

  20. Speaking from experience, cats can be the most adorable creatures, but they can turn on you in an instant. I'm told that some cats have a petting "threshold" where they will tolerate it for a certain amount of time. Then they will let you know, in no uncertain terms, that enough is enough.

I've got the scars to prove it.
