    Lucy tidbit-

Lucy and Desi co-owned Desilu Productions until she bought him out and ran it on her own. It had 2,000 employees, 36 sound stages, and 62 acres. She eventually sold it for $17 million in 67'. The name was changed to Paramount Pictures. Now, that deserves a round of applause.

    1. Almost. Paramount Pictures was already sixty-five years old and had been bankrupt by that stage - it was Gulf & Western that bought and merged the two to launch Paramount Television.

Lucy made shed-loads of money out of the deal, regardless! Jx

This one was difficult. I recently read a book about her life. She was complex and not easily definable.

  22. Prefer Lucy Ricardo.

As opposed to Lucy Carmichael and Lucy Carter, her two other sitcom characters.

  23. Classy, funny, smart.

Well, mostly classy. It's gotta be tough for kids to hear their mother verbally bash Dad on national television. That has to be the only time Lucy ever disappointed me. But, we all have our moments. Hugs!
