My Gawd, I haven't seen a steam iron since Donna Reed was filming "From Here to Eternity". I've heard if you put Vicks in one, it will clear your sinuses....
Dear, years? Are you implying I'm old fashioned? Well, you may have a point. On a good day my hair does resemble that of Donna Reed, only with tons more Aqua Net.
We were just talking about having staff over coffee this morning after learning that an ironing board is just a surf board that realized it was time to get a job. We've got a really upscale, expensive ironing board. We've never used it. Gin would help.
Ironing? That's dry cleaning around here....
ReplyDeleteDo they use gin too?
DeleteI have the feeling gin "accidentally" gets into alot of things around there.
ReplyDeleteAnd guest always wonder why it takes me forever to shampoo my hair.
DeleteI don't know what reception in at, but for gods sake, give me a gin and tonic.
ReplyDeleteFor once Norma Lee, your on subject!
DeleteI'll have to try that sometime!
ReplyDeleteSmall whiffs dear, small whiffs.

ReplyDeleteYou should have seen my trick for getting out of homework!
DeleteIt was this, probably. Jx
DeleteThat explains part of my back problems these days.

DeleteDo you have a special house boy who irons your undies, Mistress?
ReplyDeleteA good roll in the hay helps get the wrinkles out.

ReplyDeleteSame here Mitchell. I have used it twice in the 15 years I've had it. Gin definitely helps.
DeleteWait. Gin in the iron is good; the clothes get pressed, you get high, and you get a gin facial to boot.
ReplyDeleteI may have to start ironing more!
Dear, leave it to you! I knew you'd see my side of things.
DeleteHmm... I've never tried filling my steam iron with gin before. I might have to try that. ;-)
ReplyDeleteHey, the work might not be of standard, but it is definitely more fun!
DeleteMy word, I hate to see what you do with the Hoover.
ReplyDeleteWhy this explains why your always in a good mood and crease free!
