MIND MATTER AND SUMMER FUN WINNER

With the likes of Rosalind Russell, Angela Lansbury and Lucille Ball, Tilda Swinton will have big shoes to fill. The fabulous and eccentric Auntie Mame, my ALL TIME FAVORIYE movie... is returning to the screen-this time with Tilda Swinton as the titular character. Hopefully this version will be better than Lucy’s. Luckily we already know that Swinton can pull off eccentric as seen in Bad Moms, Grand Budapest Hotel and The Stars (come out Tonight). I'm happy and shuttering...should we really remake a diamond???
Pierce Fulton. Pierce is the new Calvin Harris for me and I'm becoming seduced by his music. Pierce is an American musician, singer and record producer, who specializes in my favorite genre ,Progressive House, Electronic, Dance. In 2014, Fulton's single Runaway reached the number 1 spot on Billboard's Emerging Artists chart, but it's this song No More, that got me on the dance floor this summer. I hope this electrifying track by Pierce gives you all a great kick off for the rest of the weekend.

Why not get out to your local bookstore and get the latest DNA Magazine... with my next husband on the cover.....Willie Gomez!!!!!
AND WHY NOT???? I'd ride this man more times than any amusement ride till the sun goes down.....and then start over till the sun comes up!!!!

  3. I know not of DNA magazine, but let me ask you this: Is the subtle reveal of a tuft of pubic hair popping out of his shorts a turn on? I'm a straight dude, and I kind of grew up in the non "big bush" era when it comes to women, so a thicket of hair popping out of something wouldn't get me going. Wondering if it's different for men. I wonder odd things.

    1. Ha, ha, ha, ha,ha!Thank you for your query! Anything he does turns me on!!!! But seriously, every guy is different. I personally don't mind the tuft as long as it is shaven closely. I myself like you, grew up in the non "big bush era, so I do manscaping on myself. But the turn on for me on a guy is, smile and face, basket second, and legs third. ....does this clear anything up? Now I just bet you have some answers to my questions.

    2. this str8 girl likes a guy who has a neat manscaped bush; I don't like the smooth dudes.

and like maddie, I notice eyes/smile/brains first.

  4. You know, there are some things that you should be smart enough to just not do. For example, putting your hand in fire, remake 'The Women', and certainly not remake 'Auntie Mame'. It is a piece of art that can never be outdone! And that Willie is giving me hot flashes!!!! Now can we get Pimm's all around?

  5. That's right getting people drunk two at a time!!!!

Tilda-the thought of Tilda just saying the line, "Life's a BANQUET and most sons-of-bitches are starving to death!!" makes me swoon and giggle!

    LOVE PIERCE FULTON

Willie! my hanging tongue should say it all!

    Have a fabulous weekend!

  6. I love Auntie Mame but I usually avoid movie remakes like left-over Tijuana burritos. They both can be lethal.

  8. This could be interesting, but the idea of remaking this movie does give me chills. The original is so fantastic--it does stray from the book, which I read, quite a bit in tone, but I think that's for the best. The character in the book is far more selfish and much darker--but the movie probably wouldn't have been as much fun if they want that way.

Darker and more satirical...right up Tilda's alley!

Ah shucks...next time! Have a fabulous weekend, love that drawing.

  10. Have you seen 'A Bigger Splash', Mistress? Tilda played a pop star who had lost her voice, but was still very good. And what amazing skin she has for an actress in her 50s! Mr Gomez has plenty of meat on him, but it looks a tad overcooked.

  11. If they go back to the source material, it will not even try to be the original in shape or form. I have read Deenis Patricks book and if they go that route, Tilda would be perfect. Patrick Dennis's portrait of his 'Auntie Mame' was biting, darkly comic and satirical with a razor edge about society, wealth and Progressive Education.
