THE COWS ARE HOME

Well ,well, well! Can I just say I have never been so glad to be back at the Casa du Borghese after such a busy schedule? The Mistress usually doesn't like the winter hibernation to end so early, but you see, I had it coming from all angles, all at once. In my travels back home, I captured this photogenic herd near the Casa, when I pulled over to enjoy some coffee and pastry in the towne car. I was never so happy to be back at the Casa again. How much of a ham are these guys?

It will still be a while till I'm back to posting regularly, no thanks to the likes of my social director, Anita Moorecock. Sure, she got my events and appointments right, but her miscount and poor recollection of Steve Grand and I myself was shall we say, not correct. We always kept both feet on the floor. But it was after all his birthday that weekend.

Speaking of cows....I was also unaware of the condition of the Casa, with the houseboys running amok, and apparently Ms. Moorecock's visiting sisters were squatters here for some time. I have never cared for her sisters, Ana and Ivana Moorecock. It must be poor breeding, on their mother's side. They were even seen, and had the gull to drink my Hendricks dry, use my best china, eat my lovely macaroons, and wear some of my finest caftans!!!!! I can't even imagine what they put the houseboys through. Thank goodness their half brother, Isuki Moorecock wasn't present, who lives in Japan. Last time he was here, the poor houseboys were getting splinters from all the slithers of bamboo from all his handy-craft. Why he thought I'd enjoy a fan of bamboo is beyond me. I only use marabou or ostrich feather fans. We will see if Anita will have a job at the end of the week. It will depend on how my gin and tonics wear off. It was just all so much to deal with upon getting in. I really tied one on last night with the boys. It was a night and good to be home again......

  2. Neighboring cows are often much more appealing than unwanted houseguests. The sisters are finally gone - but be very suspicious if you receive any large, Special Delivery packages from Japan.....

  8. Well, welcome back Mistress!!! Is this the photogenic herd you get your milk from? The one looks like she may want your coffee and pastry. I sure hope you have banned the Moorecock sisters from the Casa, but take it easy on Anita, the poor dear. As for Mr.Grand, a true lady never kisses and tells. I sure hope you made it upstairs and someone unzipped you. We are now preparing for the final night of Downton Abbey here. A sad night.

  18. I welcome you home, mistress. I did worry about the state of the casa, as you may notice upon reading my earlier comments...When I stopped by the houseboys were chasing around naked, lapping that cherished nectar from one another's bodies. Oh, they were put through a lot by the extended stay of the relatives, but one must admit, they themselves added to their own workload.
Though Ms Moorecock was kind and gentle in her responses to those who stopped by, it is very good to have you back!

    1. I don't believe I have ever heard kind, and gentle used to describe Ms.Moorecock. More like tough and rigid.
