Happy Monday Everybody! It's been some time since I did a Monday post. And you know what? I still don't like them. Very depressing today as last night Downton Abbey has ended. I think the Dowager Countess sums up best a Monday morning......
I will miss the Dowager Countess the most.
I have the exact feeling - - loved her character. Am I alone in always having had the utmost happy wishes for Mr. Barrow, even when he was being an ass?
ReplyDeleteBut, hugs for a Happy Monday, Mistress!
I agree about Barrow. I like how they wrapped it up for him, about would love to have seen him get a man....or at least laid.
DeleteCarlos almost wept when he heard last night was the finale.
ReplyDeleteI wept anyhow.....a great ending.
Deletewe can only hope that the creator/writer and the actors have a penchant for money and can be lured into making a feature film.
ReplyDeletewell dear...at least dragrace has started now..
DeleteA Monday post!!!!! There's that sarcastic humor!
ReplyDeleteThe only reason why I'm coping with Monday is I have the day off. It's one of two Mondays I'm using my vacation time on this month.
ReplyDeleteI miss Professor Mcgonagall. :-)
ReplyDeleteAnother role she owned!
DeleteI had hoped that after her sojurn to the Continent that Dowager Countess would have at least exited the Edwardian Era and shown some ankle before it was done. Pity. I will miss her and the crawly Crawley's. I am just thankful that Julian didn't kill her off.
ReplyDeleteIt's a miracle she even showed flesh on her hands! What? No gloves in the afternoon.....
DeleteGlad to see you back on a Monday. As the Dowager says herself "Vulgarity is no substitute for wit." Thankfully I find the latter here no matter what day it is.
ReplyDeleteJP
Pretty, witty and wise, I try, but it's hard on Mondays
DeleteAh yes. The final, final end. Millions of people sobbing in the streets. It ruined Xmas in the UK. Jx
ReplyDeleteI can see how it would have been a blue Christmas. But what an ending!
Deletemondays suck ass. period.
ReplyDeleteIs there something wrong with either sucking or ass?
DeleteJust call me Pollyanna.
It's as if Mondays were made just so the Dowager could do that look.
ReplyDeleteI flipped the bird today too, but I was almost arrested.
DeleteOf course I live that the Dowager got the last line in. Sure have missed you!
ReplyDeleteAh, the dowager! She belongs to an era when the English upper classes were not ashamed of being snobs. Have you seen The Prime of Miss Jean Brodie, starring Maggie Smith in her younger days?
ReplyDeleteWell my lands ......your back!!!!! Have certainly missed you! I too will miss the show....fine entertainment.
ReplyDeleteI LOVE that last picture - and I adore the Dowager. Great attitude!
ReplyDeleteThe last one is good for any day of the week in my opinion.
