It's that time again for nature to start waking up, the warmer temperatures, and a explosion of color... and for the love in the air to stir things.....

And if you don't believe nature has drama just witness the Silly Symphony.....

  5. These old Silly Symphonies are so better then new cartoons. I do remember seeing these when I was little. It's a nice memory of my childhood, and they make life much more happy, don't you agree? This one featured the wedding march by Felix Mendelssohn. Another reason they were gems, the music. Happy Spring Mistress. You certainly added to my Sunday morning.

    1. They were so cool, because eberyday objects and things would have life. This new generation would never enjoy them. There used to super hero or violent things now.

  10. This was the first Silly Symphony I ever watched. Of course this was made long before I was born. My late mother always showed me old works by Disney. Nice memories. Happy Spring

  16. What a fun clip! The craftsmanship, love and effort that went into these few minutes is nothing short of amazing. I don't know why no station ever runs these in small clips anymore. They were simple yet entertaining.

  17. Happy Spring to you too! I love these old gems. A fun fact-This was the first cartoon to ever win an Oscar, and the first to be painted in color.

  20. "Spring. The time of year a young man's fancy turns to thoughts of love." Such a lovely, poetic way of saying men are overly horny, ready to fuck anything that walks on two legs. LOL. Hope you had a terrific weekend.
BTW - Should our paths cross in life, you are more than welcome to view the whole me swaying in the breeze.
