Maureen Walsh-Speech of the Year

I don't know how I missed this. WOW! It had me in tears, on the heels after watching Cissy Houston leaving behind her daughters casket. If only there were more on both sides with her view. Thank you Mrs Walsh. The Mistress doesn't usually cry, but she shed some tears today.

  1. She's from the district just south of us. This is significant as we have a Cascade divide in our state. Blue on one side and red on the other side. She was the only representative to vote yes on our side of the mountains.

  3. Christians aren't interested in their sins, They can pray those away. They're just interested in everybody else's sins. How else could they feel morally superior? very very inspirational speech, brought tears to my eyes. Love and tolerance, Ms. Walsh. ♥

  8. It is so refreshing to see a Republican that can think independently, and not just part of the herd. She is awesome and I'd vote for her any day, and I'm a Democratic. Right on Rep. Welsh. We need more people like her in government on both sides.

  12. Beautifully said! If someone doesn't get it after that, they just aren't going to....and if you are one of those people, stand in front of a mirror, and introduce yourself to a bigot.
