SNOWFALL
It's been a relaxing weekend, some baking of bread and biscuits, and we finally got a nice little snowfall. The first few pictures were taken last night before I turned into bed around 3:30am. I love snowfalls at night.
Today was just as pretty.
Nothing going in the gardens.
What weekends are for!!!! After the quick shoveling...I came in for a bucket of coffee and my homemade biscuits and sausage gravy! And after losing 15lbs I didn't feel a bit guilty either.
How dare you tempt me with your sausage gravy and biscuits when I not there! I love your biscuits, no pun intended. Quintessential winter post I'd say.
Lovely post! Yes....I'd say the garden is most definitely in hibernation now. Like you, I too think nothing pretty than a snow fall at night, when it calm and quiet. Your nighttime picture reflects quietness.
Gorgeous pictures! I can't lie, I love winter. And that breakfast looks damn tasty. I love sausage gravy and biscuits! Never made homemade though.
ReplyDeleteAsriel, check Ree Drummond recipe for Sausage Gravy and if you like she has a good biscuit recipe, too.

ReplyDeleteLove the snow-covered bumbles.
ReplyDeleteLove the snowfall, we get. it about once every 3 to 5 yrs. The whole city shuts down.
ReplyDeleteBiscuits and Gravy, Yum! I made that last week ... gluten free/fodmap safe. Not looking as delicious as yours, but one does what one must.
ReplyDeleteA delicious and well-earned breakfast!
