...on a drizzly day at the Casa du Borghese, even overcast the Magnolia adds some beauty.
Beyond the doors and caught on spycam...
As you can see, Buster Bolfig is busy "guarding" the wine. While by the looks of Sophie Lucille, she must have just read Debs's latest post about crocs.

DeletePUPPIES!!!!!
ReplyDeleteOkay, so I'll make that a double gin, with bromide, for you and a chewable Croc for Sophie. My penance!
ReplyDeleteYou have no idea how I have looked for a chew toy that looks like a croc! She would destroy it.
DeleteJust buy her a pair of children’s Crocs! And then I want pictures.
DeleteBeautiful blooms
ReplyDeleteLove the florals.
ReplyDeleteHow much wine did Buster drink?
And Sophie Lucille is all kinds of adorable.
She's a bit smug right now...she just got a hair trimmed and did.
DeleteMagnolias! My favourite of all flowering trees - we used to make a "pilgrimage" to Kew Gardens every April just to wallow in their glory (we haven't renewed our membership this year, however, so we'll miss them and have to make do with ones in various gardens hereabouts). Jx
ReplyDeletePS Drunk dogs! Love 'em.
Mine too Jon!!!! They , alas...last the least amount of time of all the flowering trees. Next up is our weeping cherry and two dogwoods. So many things waiting their turns.
DeleteI agree with both of you boys. I think magnolias must be the prettiest of all flowering trees. The blooms are so gorgeous and the color?!?!? But like you said Mistress, they last for the shortness of time...
DeleteA good use for Crocs
ReplyDeleteNice and purple where you are.
ReplyDeleteWhich on my trick were you talking too?
DeleteOh be still my beating heart! Those two. Enough already!
ReplyDeleteHow do you ever leave for work with those faces???
ReplyDeleteBuster could care less, but Sophie always has the look of Don't leave me.
DeleteWhat a chuckle at Buster and Sophie! Hell, I will buy her crocs to rip up and shred. I detest those things.
ReplyDeleteThank you for sharing a little of your season with us! The magnolia tree is stunning. And the pups are the cherry on top. I see Buster is busy with the guarding.
ReplyDeleteIt doesn't look/feel like spring here this morning, so those pictures were welcoming! Sophie Lucille's pose and face are cracking me up.
ReplyDeleteAhhhh, these are such pretty photos. I just love them. Spring temps have arrived here, but not beautiful flowers yet, so I really appreciate you posting these...and those cute pups. They have the right idea.
ReplyDeleteWe're expecting a lot of rain today into tomorrow. Good nap time coming....
DeleteBoy, if you walk those two in the park...talk about boy magnet!!!! They are both to cute, and Buster doesn't not look his age.
ReplyDeleteIt may be spring but my mood is still stuck in winter. At least for today anyway. But Buster and Sophie warmed me up.
ReplyDeleteLove the photos!
ReplyDeleteMagnolia trees are beautiful. And I knew that Croc post was gonna SEND YOU!
LOL
XOXO
Sixpence
Looks like Buster and Sophie survived Hanz & Franz, though poor Buster appears to be in full recovery mode, LOL! Sophie looks sweet with her new haircut too -- we girls always feel better after a trip to a salon for a new 'do and mani-pedi!
ReplyDeleteI think she still wants a croc to rip apart.
DeleteThat tree is beautiful!!!
ReplyDeleteI say, Let Sophie at 'em!!!
I look at those two puppies and am instantly in love.
ReplyDeleteLike I am with your cats!!!!
DeleteMagnolias and puppies you get me on every count.
ReplyDeleteI love magnolia - yours are beautiful. And well done to Buster (and Sophie) - he must be doing a good job as I can still see some wine left!
