VALENTINE HEARTS

Does anything say Valentines Day like the candy conversation hearts??? From a young age we were always familiar with them from our classroom Valentine parties, and in our little Valentine mailboxes we would make to place or hang in the classroom. I can remember giving one little boy his own box and gave him a kiss when I gave them to him, and I was immediately told little boys don't kiss other boys. I should have bit that old hag. My little friend never cared, and we even talked about it through the years till he moved away in high school.  I always love seeing the little hearts, the colors are cheery.  And last year for Valentines the Lad found a company where you could have the box made with special sayings. He had two sayings put on them, "That Ass Tho", and never you mind what was on the other. They gave me a good chuckle. I have been terrible with the treats lately. As I replied to someone yesterday, if I don't watch it, my buttchops are soon to look like two VW Beetles trying to pass each other on a one-way street!! But hearts and sweets.. Valentine stalwarts.  And nothing wrong with some naughtiness...

💕💕Happy Valentine Day💘💘

  2. The love hearts we bought as kids were sherbet flavoured; just as well they didn't have some of the slogans yours show!

  3. All nice sentiments, but it's hard to top "That Ass Tho", ROFLMAO. Your friend that moved away in high school is probably still talking about that sweet kiss.

    1. You've obviously mistaken me for somebody else. I don't know anything about adult games.

      Happy Valentine's Day!

  8. Oooh... In that last photo is that a Tea-flavored heart candy?!? I’d like that! I loved and hated those heart candies. Loved getting them every year even though they weren’t even my kind of sweet. Not Valentine’s chocolates were another story.

      Tundra again...

What can I say? Rural Manitoba in the 60s and 70s was barely out of the tee-totalling, Temperance era. It's still an uber conservative place, but they're now circa 1985, LOL!
