Grande Dame
Once upon a time, there was a little black girl in the Brewster Projects of Detroit Michigan. At 15, she was spotted by a Ebony Fashion Fair Talent scout and her modeling career took off! And I believe you know the rest about this grande dame! Tv shows, three movies, countless songs and 5 cd's, and books! Talk about a poineer who really brought drag out of the closet and in your faces!!!! I wonder how she would handle holding the Republician debates next??? Werk momma, work the runway sweetie.....

ReplyDeleteListen, if RuPaul were to host the Republician Debates, and be involved, it is an extravaganza, of that you can be assured. ;-) She is fabulous for 51!
ReplyDeleteLOVE her! No one will ever exceed RuPaul’s drag greatness. She somehow always puts people in a good mood!
ReplyDeleteRupaul is not only a role model and inspiration to the gay community but also to the world. The lyrics of some of her songs are truly amazing. Learning to accept oneself flaws and all and once thts learned you have the "responsi-trannity" to teach and show others that they are in their own way good and not bad or weird or a freak just different. I love Rupaul and I hope she continues this message of loving yourself "because if you can't love yourself how the hell you gonna love someone else!
ReplyDeleteFriggin love RuPaul. Humour, heart, and glamour - all in one queen!
ReplyDeleteOnly RuPaul could look this damn good!
ReplyDeleteI still rememeber when Supermodel came out. I thought she was the best thing since sliced bread!
ReplyDeleteA true drag queen! She's got staying power.
