Terror Behind the Walls
The Eastern State Penitentiary is considered one of America's most historic prisons. And I'm here to tell ya it is scary as hell looking from Interstate 95! And it is haunted! Just look at these creepy interior shots.
The penitentiary was in operation from 1829 until 1971 and housed such notorious criminals such as Al Capone and Willie Sutton, and is currently a National Historic Landmark. The prison is also said to be just a bit haunted where many a person has seen some paranormal activity happening. As early as 1940, inmates and officers began reporting supernatural phenomena. Since it was abandoned in 71', the number of ghost sightings has increased. A couple years ago at Halloween, the penitentiary has started a tour called Terror Behind the Walls. Some of my work friends want to go to see it, but I don't think so, thank you very much! Ya see, the Mistress doesn't deal well with things popping out at her, well, at least not those things! I remember making quite a spectacle once yelling and screaming at the top of my lungs in a haunted house, sweating and hyper ventilating. I even turned around to exist back threw the enter door, and even got nasty with a woman who wouldn't move out of my way! A little embarrassing, considering it was only three year ago! So I will decline this temping offer, but will tour it on the regular tour though out the year. I don't mind ghost now, I even hope to see one when I tour it. But the idea of these crazy assholes popping out at me- forget it. Do you believe in ghost? And do you think these haunted houses? And here's a creepy video of Terror Behind the Walls. Tootles!

"But the idea of these crazy assholes popping out at me- forget it" - LMFAO!!
ReplyDeleteVery cool.
ReplyDeleteI love those old buildings, even prisons. Now, i wouldn't want to spend a night in one!
Once, when The Engineer was snoring and I went to sleep on the sofa I heard one of the twins, in those sleepers with the vinyl feetsies, get out of bed, shuffle, shuffle, shuffle and come over to stand over me. You know how you can feel a person standing close? Sigh. I opened my eyes to begin my mother's day, way too early, and there was nobody there...
ReplyDeleteScared me to pieces. I jumped up, dashed into the twins' room, both there, ran down the hallway and into our bed. To hell with the snoring!
Maddie, that place looks absolutely terrifying. No thank you, to a Halloween visit to that place!
ReplyDeleteI've seen a ghost so I do believe in them. And I hope they leave me alone from now on out!
ReplyDeleteI would love to tour this place.
Now that looks fun as hell! I would love to see that.We have some of those on the west coast, but not as many as the east coast. I'd take you if I lived there.
ReplyDeleteGirl, you know my black ass is going no where near that place, at Halloween or any other time durning the year! Oh hell no! That is some scary shit!!!
ReplyDeleteCool video! Wish I could see this place. I was once grabbed in the package by a guy dressed like a monster in one of those once. It was sort of hot.
ReplyDeleteI would go see this with you guys! The place has a very intresting history and the architecture is very unique for a prision. I can just picture you telling someone off too.
