Fierce Queens- WORK IT, But Don't Break It!!!

I could just sit and watch queens perform all day, I swear. And it takes guts to get up and do the things we queens do and have done. The Mistress always enjoyed doing high enengy, or groove/lounge numbers, but low energy numbers can take it out of you too. I remember one time both my feet just came out from under me at the club once,(damn cock-a-tails) but like a lady, you get up and just make the fall look fierce and like it was meant to be! And I will say one thing about drag. Even though I work out three times a week, my legs muscles and definition is a result of wearing 6 inches heels for years!!! Anyho, lets get his ball going with some of my favorite performances.

First up is the ever entertaining and high energy Nina Flowers. Not many queens can do ballroom and runways with such gusto and attitude like Nina! And she looks fierce as hell doing it! Bitch can tear it up.


Next up is the more elegant Bebe Zahara Benet. Here she is at last years Night of A Thousand Gowns performing Shirley's Bassey's version of Get the Part Started.


And lastly Miss India Ferrah from his years Drag Race. I have seen India perform three times, and girls, I'm here to tell ya, girlfriend will leave you breathless and wishig you could get all kinds of flexible! This is India at Club 216 a while back before Drag Race, and this is from a different perspective of her performance will never saw on Drag Race.

India has been intrigued and involved in the art of female impersonation since the age of 12!For many years, India has worked hard to obtain the desire, the drive & the attitude to further herself as a female impersonator. She put all her efforts into her illusion, such as, designing & making her own costumes, gowns, mixing her own music, doing her own hair & make-up, as well as helping other entertainers. India was also the fourth diva to exit RuPaul's Drag race, and says she is proud of herself for always keeping it classy and professional. Since leaving Drag Race, India has been traveling non-stop. She really loves getting around the country, meeting new people and sharing her act and giving a lending hand to many a charity.

RuPaul's New Divas for the Next Race!

Over the weekend, the Mistress was playing around looking at drag related things on the interwebs and came across the season 3 of RuPaul's Drag Race! I must have missed the rumors that our queen RuPaul, suffered a heart attack! While the people at logo said she didn't have a heart attack, but she did fall ill during the taping, which had brough it to a halt, but has since started back up again. And what a line-up of queens they have this time. The Mistress knows of about 3/4 of them and I already have my personal favorite to win, but I'm not saying who! But there are some very creative queens this time round. And lots of clawing to the finish line!
