  8. Oh, I would go back to church if these were the saints!
I am partial to St. Amy, you know...
And I would get on my knees and pray to St. Luigi. You know, out of faith.

    1. I freaking love Ann Miller Jon I'm so jealous! She was far under used in my opinion and not nearly appreciated enough for her talents.

  13. Oh How Fab. No home should be without their Patrons Saints and I adore yours.
As Jon said we have so many we haven’t shelf space for them all and if we lit a candle for each one the local fire brigade would need to be on hand.
Their photos on the walls (preferably signed) are a much safer option

My patron saints are different: Rudolph Nureyev, Mary Travers, Malcolm X, Christine Jorgensen and Tallulah Bankhead. My archangels are FDR and JFK, two men that gave the USA courage, hope and inspiration, tangibles sadly lacking and in great need today.
We will never see any of their likes again, something very special about them and many others.

    1. I agree with you RJ, those days are gone.

And Rudolph Nureyev could have used and abused me!!!!! And I ADORE Tallulah Bankhead...she is also a Parton Saint at the Casa. Patron Saint of Copious men, Parties and Libations! There was a story of her she told from her doctor. He told her, every time she felt like having a gin, eat an apple. To which she replied, That's fine, but who the hell wants to eat 27 apples a day?

      I know how she fells.

  16. As they're saints, you'll have to let us know their Feast Days. Meanwhile, my head is bowed.
