ANOTHER DAY AT THE CASA?

will yours truly ever return???

Greetings to one and all!!! As you may have surmised, I'm still away and tired of hearing myself during the week, and living out of suit cases, although do I like hotel services.....reminds me of my ever faithful Casa du Borghese. And I'm here to confess, it is not by any means easy to pack such ensembles into a suit case.......

I found out Thursday, I'll have two more weeks of store renovations. What does one do during the week, after work? This week it was watch the Game of Thrones from the beginning to catch up.. Did you know there was many hot men on there and all kinds of sex!!!! I need my smelling salts many nights. On weekends, I have been home, but have again been out, last weekend was home for a glorious Easter visit with family and a dinner out with the Capital Street Duo, where I'm happy to report, the Dame Courtney opened up her own business!!!!! Tuesday was back to work till Friday. I arrived home to see my book from the talented photographer and blogger friend Tomass Hawkee arrived, and what a talented man! The book is absolutely stunning, with self portraits of the man himself, and beautifully picturesque nature stills, all from the backwood of the remote parts of the Canadian country. The book is hard bound, pun intened, and has amazing quality pages. It has been a welcomed addition to my artistry library of art work. It is available on his blog over to the right in my little ole blog roll. Now today in a tad, I'm off to Asbury Park to meet the Lad for one of his friends birthday parties, so were going to be staying at the lovely Tides Hotel, a quaint boutique hotel. And I still haven't had time to get a new lap top yet. The Casa tech guy examined and it was the video card. So this may be my weekend next. So as one can see its just been too busy, but I tell you this........

  5. Glad to see you're alive and well, Mistress! If it's only a video card, your laptop will be fine. Those tend to go out after 3 years or so.

    2. It was really rough at that last winery on Thursday. The tasting menu was supposed to be five but they insisted that I taste ten. Actually that happened a lot during the past week. I even got to taste one that isn't even available for sale yet. But someone has to do it.
Years ago there was that evening when a guy who worked for a distillery insisted that all present taste their new gin.
I don't think there's an application process. You're just kind of born into it.

    3. How funny, sound have been five but they gave you ten? Sound like it was run by the Mistress!

  19. The grand dames of yesteryear would have trunks and trunks and trunks of ensems just to travel for a a few days...of course, not being as kind as you, they probably had not given the staff time off, and required them to travel along simply to lug and care for said ensembles.
