Being in visual display and fashion, I love a good creative fashion editorial. Photographer Melvin Sokolsky has always defied convention. Like his peers Irving Penn and Richard Avedon, Sokolsky dreamed the impossible and helped revolutionize the art of fashion photography during the heady 1960s, where the photographer captured elegant models soaring through the air and floating in bubbles over Paris and New York. Sort of ironic to look at this now, as we are sort of in our own bubbles.Fashion was from the greats...Yves Saint Laurent, Nina Ricci, Balenciaga, Dior and de la Renta.
And now this evening, what a better tune to set to these fabulous photos to, then with Emma Bunton, in of my favorite songs I used for drag routines. The vibe gives me chill childern.
