IN BUBBLES

Being in visual display and fashion, I love a good creative fashion editorial. Photographer Melvin Sokolsky has always defied convention. Like his peers Irving Penn and Richard Avedon, Sokolsky dreamed the impossible and helped revolutionize the art of fashion photography during the heady 1960s, where the photographer captured elegant models soaring through the air and floating in bubbles over Paris and New York. Sort of ironic to look at this now, as we are sort of in our own bubbles.Fashion was from the greats...Yves Saint Laurent, Nina Ricci, Balenciaga, Dior and de la Renta.

And now this evening,  what a better tune to set to these fabulous photos to, then with Emma Bunton, in of my favorite songs I used for  drag routines. The vibe gives me chill childern.

MAYBE....

...OR MAYBE NOT...back yet. The Mistress is away for the weekend on my last booked stint up at the Woods Campground, glamping, so regular programing will resume next week. In the meantime enjoy this perfect, retro ditty from Emma Bunton. One of my favorite drag numbers. It 's the perfect classy song to get one in a good mood and get the weekend started. See ya next week dears.

LATE NIGHT WITH EMMA BUNTON

One of my latest emails, I'm slowly getting to them, was from Cello Josh, who wondered what I'm listening too lately, and if a person could have a theme song to their walk and daily life what would it be??? It may surprise some... lately I have been on a Emma Bunton kick. I always enjoyed the Spice Girls, but I have to say, I enjoyed them all separately on their own much more, but Emma has gone on to some very fun music, and a wide variety, plus I just love her style....retro,chic,sophisticated and a groovy sound. Emma's song from 2005 titled Maybe was and is still one of my favorite, and the feel and sound of it would MOST DEFINITELY  be my daily theme song!!!! And is it me or could you not see Courtney Act and Emma Bunton being the same person?
